This was my second experience getting a piercing at Athena Body Adornment, and I am so happy I found this place. The owner is incredibly welcoming and informative. Sara, the piercer, was incredible, she’s knowledgeable, friendly, and makes you feel completely at ease. She took the time to address all my questions and concerns, which I really appreciated. I left with a beautiful new piercing and confidence in the care I received. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great piercing experience!

This studio is fantastic! I felt a little intimidated going to a piercing shop alone, but as soon as I stepped through the door, all anxiety melted away. The front desk staff is super welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. They give you all the time you need to look through the gorgeous jewelry and help you select the right piece for the piercing you’re there for. The shop itself is lovely, cozy, and clean. Their piercings are done in a very sterile environment. I’ve worked with the piercer, Vee, multiple times now, and he is fantastic. He makes me feel very comfortable, is fun to talk to, and the piercings he's given me have been done perfectly and quickly. The jewelry they carry is high quality and body-safe, being only gold or implant-grade titanium (hypoallergenic). And let me tell you, the jewelry is really beautiful, I mean breathtaking. It is a family-friendly establishment. I’ve seen older teenagers there with their parents getting pierced, and they were elated and had a great time. I also adore the shop being woman-owned and LGBTQ+ friendly and supportive. They are members of the APP (Association of Professional Piercers), which is optional but shows their dedication to professionalism and bettering their craft. I did a lot of research before selecting a piercing studio, and this place checks all the boxes. I would not hesitate to recommend stopping by and getting a few holes in your body!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could!
I have been wanting to get my nostril pierced for a while, but struggled with finding the right location to do it at. One of my coworkers referred me to this place, so I figured I’d give it a try. The staff were extremely informative, kind, and gave AMAZING recommendations for my first piercing. I was extremely impressed with the technique/professionalism from my piercer, and felt extremely comfortable throughout the experience. I will refer anybody to this place from now on if they’re looking for a piercing.

I walked in for a nose piercing and was able to be seen right away. it was a super welcoming space and the front desk lady was very helpful. Piercer was great, efficient and it was extremely clean and sterile.

Shoutout to ALISON for my 5 year old daughter’s perfect first ear piercings!!! She was incredibly friendly and patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. She took her time lining up the piercing marks with pen. When I asked her to reposition one more to the right, I didn’t feel any kind of exasperation from her. 10/10 experience.
Shoutout to SARA too bc she’s awesome.
I’d make the drive out there again to get pierced myself next time!

After a frustrating experience at another studio, I came to Athena, where the clean, welcoming atmosphere and friendly cool staff instantly put me at ease.
I met with Sara, an incredible curator and creator, who truly understands the art of piercing. She took the time to listen, offer tailored advice for my design. She definitely spoke my language. I find there’s nothing better than to have a piercer who can INSPIRE you!
I’m so thrilled with what we’ve worked on so far. Everything came out nicely. Can’t wait for the next phase.
This is my go to place now. You should definitely stop by for your next piercing.

I’ll start off by saying I did not end up getting a piercing here. I came here with a bachelorette party. We walked in and a man greeted us and when one of our party asked for a pricing sheet the guy gave us a long speech about how it’s not a flat rate for about 10 minutes. He finally gave some pricing and it was much higher than average prices. I understand that it’s medical grade and certified piercers but the prices are still a bit much. Overall the place looked clean and pretty however I felt the place was somewhat pretentious would not be recommending this piercer.

I walked in with my daughter. The shop is beautiful. It's a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly, they educated us and answered all of our questions. Went there to get my daughter's piercing walked out both pierced. V was amazing. He walked us through the process and made it a comfortable experience. The environment was a clean, sterile, safe space. We left there with enough knowledge on how to care for our piercings as well as the tools needed to care for our piercings. Thank you so much for an amazing mother daughter experience.

I decided to get my conch pierced, so I researched the best place to do it. I picked Athena Body Adornment because they were highly rated, and after my experience, I can see why. Everyone was super nice and patient. They helped me pick out the right piece for my ear, and Allison was absolutely amazing. She was very professional and kind. I had little discomfort from the piercing, both during and after. As a nurse, I was impressed by her sterile technique, as was my fellow nurse friend. I was given excellent aftercare instructions as well. If I could give more stars for my experience, I would. Can’t wait to return for my next piercing!

Best piercing experience I have ever had. I had previously had my septum pierced twice by two different “professionals” and both had completely mess up, one was way too low and the other was too high and went through my cartilage so I was really scared and anxious going in because although I really love the piercing itself, I was scared to have it don’t incorrectly and I’m so happy I went to this shop and got it done. Sara was so sweet and understanding and incredibly knowledge, she walked me through the entire process start to finish and was very kind and professional, although it was near closing time she didn’t rush at all and I felt very comfortable with her. She did an amazing job and the piercing came out PERFECT. Her husband was also very sweet and explained the aftercare well to me and let me know that if I ever needed help changing the piercing or had questions about jewelry options that I am more than welcome to come back and get their help. They also have high quality jewelry that is absolutely STUNNING and will last you a lifetime. If you’re looking to get a piercing done and have it done right the first time, I highly recommend this shop, you will be in the best hands and care here.

Athena is the best studio because it isn’t just a place to get a piercing, it is an incredibly collaborative, empowering, and fulfilling experience. From the moment you walk in you are treated with respect and friendship. Their jewelry selection is gorgeous; long gone are the days when your only choice is a titanium hoop or bar. The actual piercing is always handled with care and you have full agency over your body and choice. This is the only place I bring my daughters because they get to experience self care education and responsibility and that is EVERYTHING. Every time we walk out we feel like the coolest! The entire staff are knowledgeable, talented, and friendly. Please visit them and bring friends and family to their beautiful space.
