This place is a scam please be aware!! First there is no info on any of the employees most of them are family members! They promote a happy living environment but force you to do stuff You may not want to do! They dig up everything about your life and make sure you have absolutely 0 contact with ppl close too you! They refuse to let you see ppl unless they are inside of the program keeping you from experiencing a healthy living environment like they claim! They lied and told my mother on several occasions that they would help me get a better job possibly put me in school! They never did! I left my hometown in hopes of this place being a better more successful opportunity then what I had! Not to mention they took all my account info! Someone in they’re department lied about where my taxes went! They would take my phone if I had any issues with anyone but be manipulative about it! Not to mention the owners sister would constantly yell and scream at ppl for no reason! If I could go on I probably would! If it was not for my outside life before I came here ( friends, family) and the lies I was told I probably would of loved to stay! No matter what disability your adult child has please do your best to stay away from this place! Oh and they send you a nice Boucher looks amazing when you read it until you realize there is absolutely no freedom here you can’t even buy specific snacks although this was about 10 years ago the fact they did so much to try and make it seem like I was crazy I have a boyfriend I’m marrying in June of next year going to medical school and working on getting my diploma i also working as a teacher and caregiver so everything they did to break me they didn’t! Please stay away this place is not want you want and ever since I left I have received so many blessing! Be very very careful of this place because they are very good at convincing ppl it is a good environment!

The best thing about FIL is the sense of community. The Residents of FIL create life long friendships. And what can you say about the staff? They are simply the most committed passionate group of individuals you could know! A great organization.

This facility provides a God sent service for families of adults with learning disabilities. We have found them always to be working to mature the residents, keep them safe at all times and grow them toward independence.
