I am very disappointed with Northwind Ministries furniture pickup service. Three times I have set up a date for pickup. And three times they have NOT arrived. No call to say they can't come. I have waited at home all day each time. I will not recommend call them again and will not recommend them for pickup.

Mildew/Mold smell. Books and walls had mildew stains. I could barely breathe. I couldn't stay to finish looking at the rest of the stuff.

I love thrift stores, but unlikely that I would go back to this one. It was disorganized and not clean. Three or four people were sitting around in the store. Theft prevention? Or IF they were volunteers, they sure weren't doing anything.Stuff was just sitting around in boxes and it was time-consuming to try to dig through things , there was a box full of multiple puzzles with mismatched pieces which I would have been willing to buy if the person would have lowered the price but he didn't seem willing to do that. The store will most likely have to throw them away because no one else would have been willing to take the time to organize that box. They do have tons of stuff so if you're willing to spend several hours you might find something.

Staff consisted of volunteers,most of them were sitting on furniture intended to sell. Extremely cluttered. I felt prices were a little high for it being a thrift shop considering everything was donated to begin with.

If only there were an option for No stars, barely any lighting, the place is a mess, man at the counter finished reading whatever he was reading in the newspaper before ringing up the people ahead of me in line, no friendly greetings and way over priced! I've read the reviews for this place. Obviously the place has gone WAY downhill. God bless them within their hard times.
