I purchased a Gyarados Ex Premium Pokémon Collection last Saturday February 17th for 30 dollars. Today (6 days Less than a week after) I check online and notice it is 10 dollars less. I understand trading cards are not refundable however I contacted the GameStop in question and spoke with an employee on the phone who said they could do a price adjustment as long as it was less than 15 days and that they could look up my purchase with my pro membership. I then drive to the location to be told by a different employee that the previous one was “misinformed” and that they cannot do price adjustments. At bare minimum it feels like honoring that and making that moment correct feels like the right thing to do since that employee gave me incorrect information and I drove over and wasted time and gas to be told he was wrong and that they were “sorry.” All I was going to do was use the price adjustment to buy more cards in store. This was a pretty awful experience and feels odd to me that an employee would just guess as opposed to being sure of the information they provide to a customer over the phone. Especially when I’m sure it’s easy to simply check using the resources provided to them as employees.
I’m not going to make a scene over 10 dollars to an underpaid employee however I will post this to make sure that no one else has the same frustrating experience.

Since there are few gamestops locally, we came here and bought the gyarados premium collection on 2/17. We looked and saw the price was reduced so we called and spoke to someone who said that GameStop does price adjustments and he said they could look up the account since we didn’t have the receipt. Well a wasted gas trip later the person in the store said GameStop does not do price adjustments and said they were sorry. There seemed to be no concern about the misinformation being shared. Terrible experience.

Punk kid working there. Helped me 38 days ago to get a protective case and screen for.my.switch. He asked if I had the oled I said no. He picked the case and come to find out it was for oled. I tried to exchange not return for the right one and he said that he couldn't help me. I will never spend another cent with your company

On Sunday 10/09/23 I went to this store bought 2 brand new games for pS5 today Tuesday 10/10/23 I called the store I spoke to a rep and I explained that I didn’t like one of the games he said no problem bring it in and we will exchanged it I told him what game I wanted it and I told him I was going there around 7:30 pm he told me some guy name Andrew was going to be there and he was going to let him know to do a returned and exchange it I paid 23 dollars for the game new and when I got there at 7;30 pm and this guy Andrew wanted to give me $7 for game that I bought new 2 days ago and I’ve already spoke to another guy in the morning so apparently there was a lack of communication this guy Andrew dosent have no customers ser skills he shouldn’t be working with customers he is rude and doesn’t show any empathy to my situation and he had the audacity to laugh at me on my face I took my game back and walked to out and I will never go back to the cocoa store anymore I called the viera store and talk to another guy and the experience was 5 stars I will find out who’s the district manager because this guy Andrew from the cocoa fl store it needs to be retrained and reprimanded for the way he treats people I will not let this go , there’s other reviews of people complaining about this Andrew character

Had a return from a different store from Jacksonville FL.Jamal was awesome,called customer service and handlled everthing,went ahead and got 3 more games while I was there .can't say enough how good he was!!!very happy customer

I called about 6:30 and told them I was on my way from Titusville to pick up a game, and he said no problem I’ll set it aside for ya, I just called when I pulled up and they were closed and Andrew was horribly rude and very poor customer service I explained to him that the other gentleman said he would set it aside and he said “ we also close at 7:00 so..” super rude I’ll never shop here again!! Andrew at the Clearlake rd store across the st from Walmart
