I highly recommend Epic Boardsports! After initial contact with my general questions around a new paddle board, Jennifer replied with detailed info on specific models in the various ranges which really helped me decide on the best fit for my needs and conditions. All of the purchase process, shipping, packing etc was all clearly explained, with fast responses to any questions along the way. I got a Starboard Spice SUP and this board was shipped to Miami where I freight forwarded it by sea to Barbados. The packaging done by Epic Boardsports is top notch - the board arrived in pristine condition, and judging by the outer boxing, conditions during the transit were not gentle! Epic Boardsports pack with extra cardboard and foam, on the deck and bottom and especially on the vulnerable areas like nose tail and rails. Hands down the best package job I’ve seen and I’ve imported quite a few paddle/surf/foil boards here before. Will definitely be revisiting Epic Boardsports the next time I’m looking for new gear.

This review is a few months overdue but wanted to write to share how helpful and a pleasure it was to do business with Epic Boardsports. I was interested in a SUP and Jennifer went out of her way to answer all questions and make sure I purchased the correct one along with the gear it needed. I live in Texas and the board delivered within a few days and was packaged well with no damage. Thank you for all the help, Jennifer!!!

What a great experience! Jennifer is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The shop has a super welcoming vibe. Definitely worth the trip if you’re within range of Cocoa Beach. We were able to make a confident purchase and even walked out with a lunch recommendation!

Love to shout out local businesses, especially when they go above & beyond & that is absolutely what you get at Epic Boardsports! Was looking for an electric sup pump & when I couldn't find them anywhere else not only did they carry it in stock but they offered to blow up my paddle board for me just to get me out on the water! I really appreciate the time & service & I look forward to going back for a roof rack because, oh yeah, they install those too! Thanks again !

J&J (Jonathan and Jennifer) from Epic Boardsports are the absolute best at customer service and their knowledge for the products they offer are nothing short of spectacular!
I was in town last November for a festival and was looking for info on renting and purchasing s SUP for surfing. The store was closed for renovations but I called the number anyway. Jennifer called me back within minutes explaining they were closed but offered to meet me and discuss my options.
I was blown away at the depth of knowledge on their entire product offering. I ended up ordering a board that was on order with the factory and due in a couple of months. Every bit of info they proactively provided to me was spot on. I never had to request a status update. When the board arrived Jonathan even met me halfway between Cocoa Beach and Fort Lauderdale to hand deliver it and show me the features/specs of my new board.
Thank you so much J&J for showing me what the best customer service looks like.

It’s always a little scary to get a new board without the opportunity to demo and Epic was just too far away for me to get there to try the board ahead of time. Jennifer was super helpful answering questions about a wave SUP I was considering. It was clear that she REALLY did want to make sure that I was making an appropriate choice for my local conditions as well as my weight and my surfing level. She also helped set my expectations and gave me some tips that helped me get started on a higher performance board.

I recently broke my old, reliable Starboard SUP. It’s so old that the exact model is lost to the vagaries of memory. I was determined to upgrade to an 8’0 Starboard Hypernut. There is no dealer near my home in NW Florida. Starboard put me in touch with Jennifer M at Epic and within a week I was picking up my new Hypernut at the local airport. Cocoa Beach is lucky to have Epic and Jennifer. For the rest of us, don’t despair, their outstanding customer service has a long reach. This team has my highest recommendation!

I had a great experience with Epic BoardSports. They have the best selection of worldclass stand up paddleboards that I’ve ever seen personally. It’s so hard to find shops that have more than just a few average boards on hand. So many shops just want to place an online order for you with board unseen. Epic BoardSports has the full boardroom experience. You can see and touch all the different models and get a feel of the shape, weight and quality of materials. Jennifer and the team are very knowledgeable and helped get me all setup with the right board for me and accessories and everything that I needed. I really appreciated that they took time to put on the fin and also the shoulder strap for me. Customer service is excellent and prices are excellent. I drove pretty far and passed many other shops along the way just for the pleasure of dealing with Jennifer and Epic BoardSports and I will happily do it again. I’m very happy with my total experience at Epic BoardSports and they have definitely earned my business in the future. Yew! ??

I have never used this company. But I have been cut off in traffic by their company van going into a construction zone with men along side working. I then watched him take out some traffic cones and continue to drive easily 90+mph in a 55. He could’ve killed one of the workers. I’m so shocked to believe someone has the right state of mind to drive like that with their company name and phone number on the back.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. This shop went way out of it's to answer all of my questions, make suggestions and eventually reduce my anxiety about buying and shipping full carbon boards.Jennifer was excellent with my inquiries. She was quick to respond and knowledgeable with products and performance.I felt a trust that is rare these days and it was that feeling that helped me pull the trigger on two Starboard SUPs. After assuring me that they would be handled and shipped with care, I decided to buy.This shop was obviously comfortable with shipping large, fragile items. The boards arrived (AA Cargo) with holes in the outside box, so I spent the time to unpack them completely at the airport. The guys at Epic had provided triple protection and the boards were perfect. They were so well wrapped, that it took me 20 minutes to penetrate the armor.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for info or ready to buy. Very professional, with a personal "shop next door" attitude. Perfect transaction.
