Took car to Ford dealer, got an estimate, declined it and took it to JD for SAME service at half the price. Responsive, efficient, and affordable. A+ service every time. Very popular, and do need an appointment

My 2016 Fusion had a loud humming sound in the back drivers side. Took my car in and they diagnosed the problem right away and even found the boot in the front was actually missing. They finished the job in less than a day and the cost was way less than I expected.
The ladies at the desk are so professional and courteous and the mechanics are top notch! I would not hesitate to recommend J & D to my friends and family. It is such a pleasure to work with a company that values my business.

The staff was welcoming and kind, the prices were reasonable and the work was exceptional. I’m so happy to have had this fine establishment recommended to me. And did I mention they have a cat? They have a cat, Chester. They have my business, and my that of my family.

I had the same Mechanic for my four runner since I owned it twenty years , moved an by the grace of God I found J&D they will be my Mechanic for my new 2021 CHR and hopefully it will last twenty years

We have been customers of J and D for 12 or so years. Without a doubt, we can always trust what Daryl recommends is truly needed, that he will not sell you anything that you do not need. Most recently, I had my Genesis G80 in their shop with concerns over thinking I needed new brakes. It started 6 or so months ago but Daryl said it wasn't ready for new brakes yet. He kindly said we would check them at each oil change and when the time is right, we will replace them. Well, I started hearing a noise and took it back in for him to check it out. He test drove the car and recommended the brakes and rotors to be turned. I was so happy today when I picked up the car because I now feel safe driving it and I know it was needed. Over the years, I have told everyone that I know to go see him at J and D because he is an HONEST man who takes pride in his work and has integrity! The South Lake community is blessed to have such a great mechanic in town!

I took my 71 Skylark to J&D Automotive for an alignment. Before I could get back home and start work, I received a call that it was ready. They did an amazing job on my old school Buick. The staff were great and very helpful, this is my place from now on!

Went in for oil change and to service my Transmission. I have to say I love Chester the Cat. But the mechanics are freaking awesome. The entire staff was awesome. My car is going smooth they did an amazing job and you can not beat those prices.

This post is for me and my wife shayla Dowell, the mechanic and staff are so honest and absolutely amazing! We’ve been here a few times, this last time we asked the mechanic what needed to be done to get it to Georgia and back, he was honest and super friendly, we won’t stop going here for all our vehicle fixes. Oh and did I mention how adorable the cat Chester is, omg such a spoiled happy goofball!

J and D Auto are Honest Trustworthy people!! Came here for a second opinion.
I was almost taken for $1900 @ Mavis on a brake job that wasn't needed.
$248 turned the Drums and changed the oil. Thanks J&D Auto we will be back. And send business your way: )

Had front suspension checked out to get a second opinion after having another shop check it out. No problems with struts or anything else other than engine mounts needing to be replaced.
