Terrible customer service and the manager wasn’t helpful. Cashier was rude and would not come by again. Tried to return an item and they say “items cannot be returned when it’s passed 30 days”. As if their holiday return policy standing by their front door says otherwise. We are allowed to return products after 30 days through store credit, I was even refused that option for a new item. Disappointing..

I had a disappointing experience at HomeGoods with the manager, Giovanni. My son wanted a tumbler that had visible damage, so I politely asked if a discount could be applied. The cashier called the manager over, and Giovanni came by but was dismissive—he said it was a “defect” and not “damage,” then simply walked away without giving any direction to the cashier or addressing my concern further.
As a manager, that kind of response shows poor communication and lack of attention to customer concerns. It also set a poor example for the cashier, who was left unsure of how to proceed. Definitely not the level of service or leadership you’d expect from someone in a managerial position.

Moving into a furnished apartment-- furnished, not decorated. Home Goods had necessities like wooden spoons and coffee cups and ice tea glasses, plus bedding and bath linens, throw pillows and space rugs were found in a nice quality and a variety of design choices. A few trips over the weekend and my new space is feeling like home.

Disappointing Customer Service at HomeGoods Clermont
Today I had a very disappointing experience at the HomeGoods store in Clermont. On Sunday evening, I opened a box of outdoor lights I had purchased about a week ago from the Millenia location, only to find that the lights didn’t work. They lit up red and appeared to have damaged/rusty parts, as if they had already been returned by another customer.
Since it was after store hours and HomeGoods was already closed, I went the next day after opening the box to the closest location, which was Clermont. I didn’t have the receipt with me, but I showed my bank statement as proof of purchase. I also called the Millenia store, and they told me I could bring the item to any location and that I would receive either a refund or a store credit — which is exactly what I wanted.
However, when I arrived at the Clermont store, the manager — a woman — was extremely unhelpful and dismissive and didn't provide me her name. From the moment she approached me, she seemed unwilling to assist. She said the most she could offer was $15 for a product I had purchased for $40, even though it was clearly defective and had likely already been returned once before.
This isn’t about the money; it’s about how customers are treated. I have been a loyal HomeGoods shopper for years, and I’ve always enjoyed their home products. But experiences like this make me reconsider ever returning to the Clermont location.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and helps improve customer service and how loyal customers are treated. This incident occurred on Monday 30th/2025 at 1:15 PM

A lot of good deals...but some stores are clean and organized and some others look as if a bomb went off.

I hate this place, but in a good way . I actually never need anything, but spend all my money in there, every time. It is just crazy. Sometimes, you find absolutely nothing and other times, you find everything.
