I like this store but I don’t understand why they mark up clothes with store stickers that have lower prices on them. (Wish I had taken photos). Little children’s clothing should not be marked as high as they are now. Where is the “goodwill” for parents trying to make ends meet?

I am an interior designer who frequently visits the store to find home decor items/furniture pieces to try and save a few bucks. I know it’s hard to find a good deal nowadays with that google app thing but if you visit enough you’ll find one!
Since day one I’ve been here and I’ve seen the crew of “pickers” change trougout the years. (it’s goodwill they themselves are flippers now) The two individuals that everyone makes mention of are actually some of the nicest and most helpful people in that store in my 11 years frequenting this location. And boy… I’ve seen my fair share of them.. Please do better Clermont Goodwill!!!

finally others are speaking up about their horrible experiences involving the two shelf clearing guys (who appear very unfriendly) who just make the back their territory and don't let anyone else have a chance at getting something good for themselves. they have to spend HOURS doing this and snatching things immediately to sell, I can tell they do this because they look these items up on their phones and I've heard them talking about "resale" pricing! not sure if they are using Amazon or e bay, but it makes me skip this place weekly now! used to love it but even if I wanted to spend my money here I can't because those two guys take everything good, i think that's why the price on things being put on the shelves is so high now, these guys ruin it for everyone! shame on you. back in my day it wasn't like this, management please look into fixing this issue, looks like a lot of customers are unhappy!! go figure!!!!!!! ?

Yes it's true, there are several people that sit back by where the furniture comes out.they google similar items online . It appears they are working together. They do this just feet away from the mgr. Office. I spoke with an employee and he was aware of it. So it's tolerated. I use to find some decent items like small tables but no more. No one has a chance to purchase the stuff. They are selling the stuff they buy and that's ok but don't take it all. Leave some for other customers. I will limit my visits there.

The Goodwill in Clermont is a large, fairly new freestanding store. Ample parking in its own lot. Friendly staff. Minus one star for a somewhat junky homegoods section and some high prices on items. Still some great finds if you're willing to search. Recommended.

Prices are becoming astronomical here. You can actually shop in true retail stores at these prices. I am no longer donating here for this reason. I will donate to the smaller independent shops in clermont. Worst part of my experiences here is that the same two guys are always hovering and lingering around the back bay doors where the merchandise comes out. Theyre always sitting around and in the way filling their cart for their resale. Im suprised the managers here let these two continue to practically live in the store day in and day out blocking the door and making average shoppers experiences so gritty. Very annoying.

two guys sit at the back of the store waiting for new items to come out every time i'm in here, they virtually make sure nothing good hits the sales floor
and when anything good does hit the sales floor its priced over ebay prices
this place is a joke

They do have a nice selection of clothing to choose from. Prices not bad , store kept clean, and staff was friendly.

Worst place to shop. You buy clothing you cannot try on cause they don't have fitting rooms then when you go back to get a refund they give a sob story of how they only do exchanges. That's a shame that Garbagewill is so HUNGRY to not return a hard worked hour of pay on used JUNK. Shame on you and your employees.

The prices are absurd, if I wanted to pay eBay prices I would buy on eBay. Prices are ridiculous for DONATED items. Insane. A broken vhs player for $60 is insane to me
Ds games for $20 lmao whoever is in charge of pricing at this location is a lunatic ?

Goodwill used to be a great store. Now the prices are absurd (they want $5.99 for a clearly used plain t-shirt you could buy new at Walmart for $3-4?) and they now have removed all their dressing rooms so you can't even try anything on. They only do exchanges (within 3 days), NO returns, so if you buy something to try on at home and it doesn't fit, too bad. It's insulting and infuriating to see this happening at a place that used to be a joy to shop at.

The staff was rude and sassy when I was dropping off donated items, lesson learned I will no longer donate here - go to St. Vincents or New Beginnings where the staff is actually friendly and appreciative.
