My encounter with GameStop's customer service was beyond frustrating. The representatives displayed a dismissive attitude, making me feel unheard and unimportant. Their lack of professionalism and condescending tone only added to the already disappointing experience. They would yell at me when I could not hear them. I wouldn't recommend their chain of places to anyone.

Called about a game that was supposed to be shipped to the store for my daughter and was told by the Assistant manager Lasette that I need to call customer service. When I asked her for the number she told me she didn't know and that I needed to "Google it"....I wish I was making this up.

This gamestop is a joke, system is always down & the people here arnt friendly at all. They all seem like they want to quit. Guess I'll be going to Orlando to do my basic trade ins and pre-orders. I know this place can't be doing too much buisness & they wonder why.

Really helpful staff. The gentleman working on a Saturday afternoon helped me select a title for my young daughter. He then told me about some other products that I might like in the future. Really great, concierge-level service here. Love it!

Employees are clueless about things and seem like they don’t care about what you’re saying either. Walked in to ask about the Tears of The Kingdom pro controller, was told both it and the limited OLED exclusive console were ‘discontinued’ and were never going to be restocked anywhere. Ended up finding it restocked at my local Wally World on top of MANY restock websites showing that new shipments were coming in. On top of that, some woman named Marie or Marcia or something like that practically snapped at me over the phone when I asked about the same controller being in stock. She told me “no we don’t know what’s in the boxes until it’s opened what else do you want!?”. Told the workers in store and they seemed to act ‘shocked’ by the behavior too. Bought a wireless switch controller that day since I thought the limited one was ‘gone forever’ due to the employee telling me that it basically was, then immediately returned it right after due to how I felt like I was treated. Horrible service, was much, much better pre 2020. Don’t waste your time and money.

i bought the controller playstation 5 , but the controller doesn’t work , i back to return but the tall guys wok here he don’t want make retun for me. alway his face uncomfortable anytime i come ask something. i think he asian lewdness. never coming back this plan . bad service

It's a Gamestop. If going in and purchasing a game is all you are looking for, it is fine. But I would recommend making a different store your default go to for pre-orders or anything that may require anything other than an immediate interation. This store literally never answers the phone. After trying to get ahold of an associate for about 5 hours (started trying to call in at 2pm and eventually gave up around 7pm, about 30 calls total), I drove up to the store to ask whether I had preordered FF XVI. Just to test, I called while looking at the shelves. The phone didn't even ring and the guy behind the counter never even slowed.

i called them almost 30 times bc i had a simple question (store specific). they refused to answer. started spam calling just to be petty with whoever was deliberately not answering the phone (and to also try and get an answer to my question obviously). and if i waited longer than 5 seconds to start the next attempt at calling, i'd get a busy tone, as if the employee answered somebody else's call or is using the business phone to call people. looks REAAAALLLY unprofessional from my perspective. about to go into the store and pretend to look at stuff while i try to call again, so i can try n figure out if an employee is legit just ignoring the phone.
