I called the store for information, not knowing that they were closed at the time. A guy answered with a confused “hello?”
Me: Hello.
Guy: Who is this?
Me: [my name].
I proceed to ask my question when he cuts me off and says “So, you’re not with GameStop?”
Me: No.
Guy: Oh. We’re closed. Goodbye.
It’s not my fault you answered after you closed. You could have been nice and answered my simple question or kindly ask me to please call back during operating hours. There was no customer service offered. I felt disrespected.

Employee was rude , didnt want us asking questions, he rolled his eyes,my boyfriend accidentally vaped and he understandably said "don't vape" we said okay, then added "that's actually wild you just did that" aggressively, you lost a sale today..like calm down, usually your employees are nice maybe don't put him on the weekends since he clearly doesn't want to be working.

Usually the staff is great and very helpful, especially the manager lady, but Dan had a really bad attitude.
Dan was rude from the start listening to his ear buds with no interest in answering questions, it felt like he didn't want me in the store even though I was the only customer there at noon on a Saturday. After asking if he could help with a list of the games on 40% discount per the advertisement Dan told me he didn't have it and if I wanted information to scan a qr code.
Once I scanned the QR code...I came to find out my first initial question about the buy 2 used get 1 free was still true even though he told me that was no longer a sale, after up selling me two new games they had in used inventory.
I thought the whole point of coming to the store was for help and friendliness of staff, this was not the case and I will be considering a new location or just buying games online.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a game stop. Showed up ready to trade in my PS4 for a PS5 but refuse support this location. Will gladly wait and buy a PS5 somewhere else

Employee wouldn’t let me return an item i just purchased infront of him and hadn’t open. Wanted to purchase with a gift card. However accidentally use the wrong card. Says you can’t use the gift card on anything but games. Only had old games. Nothing new or up to date

I called the Clermont store regarding an issue I was having with my Xbox. I understand this is not their issue but I wanted to ask to see if I was missing something. The clerk Kawan was very rude repeating it was Game Stop repeatedly. At the time he refused to give his name when asked, breathed heavily on the phone and then hung up.
I would love to tell you this was the end of the story, but I will just say, in person, this young person was just horrible to speak with. After not being given any information and calling another location, Marcy the store manager was able to confirm what she knew as a resource however her tone was so much better and respectful. I hope she truly speaks to the young man as she shared she would.

My encounter with GameStop's customer service was beyond frustrating. The representatives displayed a dismissive attitude, making me feel unheard and unimportant. Their lack of professionalism and condescending tone only added to the already disappointing experience. They would yell at me when I could not hear them. I wouldn't recommend their chain of places to anyone.

Called about a game that was supposed to be shipped to the store for my daughter and was told by the Assistant manager Lasette that I need to call customer service. When I asked her for the number she told me she didn't know and that I needed to "Google it"....I wish I was making this up.

This gamestop is a joke, system is always down & the people here arnt friendly at all. They all seem like they want to quit. Guess I'll be going to Orlando to do my basic trade ins and pre-orders. I know this place can't be doing too much buisness & they wonder why.

Really helpful staff. The gentleman working on a Saturday afternoon helped me select a title for my young daughter. He then told me about some other products that I might like in the future. Really great, concierge-level service here. Love it!
