I came into this nail salon on Saturday. It was my first time as I am trying to find a new regular salon. The salon was clean and nice, I got a decent pedicure and the gal was nice. Then I had a gentleman do my nails, a fill. I had picked a very simple design. I don’t like to choose anything too complicated at new salons if I don’t know what they’re capable of. He didn’t tell me that he wouldn’t be able to do it and since it was simple, I assumed it would be no problem. He started attempting it and was having trouble. No problem. I told him to let me know if he couldn’t do it, but he kept trying. I finally said that it wasn’t turning out how I hoped, so we should scrap it. I didn’t want all black nails, but I had been there for so long that I had him remove two of the nails and just do them all black. It’s only Tuesday and these nails look SO bad. I noticed that he didn’t use a base coat, so I’m not sure if that’s why. They’re chipping, bubbling, peeling. I have an event this weekend so I have to get them redone. I paid $100 for my nails and pedicure. I really feel I should get my money back.

The staff were super friendly and dedicated to their work. I live in Chicago and wish they were their because they would definitely be my #1 Nail salon. I f you live in the area I strongly recommend ELEGANT NAILS.

Love the owners. I drive 30 minutes for Cindy to do my pedicure. She is fabulous!! I have never had someone so good with ingrown toenails!!

Used to go here when i was younger but saw how inconsistent they were so I moved on to finding a better place. Made an appt for my mom to get just a manicure and they had the audacity to tell her to wait 5 minutes when she got there while the only people working were doing pedicures, to than move on to do the customers nails and my mom says they told her in 1 minute they will attend her. No lie she says 10 minutes to 3pm they still have not attended her! Beyond frustrated that there is no importance to people making appointments! Ive lived in this town for 15 years and this place was the first place i went to get my nails done and after a few tries and my original tech moving I left because noone else cared about making the customer feel heard instead they are just money hungry! Called to talk to someone in charge and they said to call back on Monday, than i told them my issue and all they can say is sorry we were busy no remorse in how they said it like ok move on is what i felt. Learn to take consideration on people before their money!!!
