What everyone else said--it's absolutely impossible to get service, let alone find a working phone number. The customer service center is helpless, and the number for the local business is out of service (much like the wifi we've already paid for).

Once you become a customer of CenturyLinc it is impossible to speak to a human being. I have tried everything I can to contact someone to solve my problems, They provide no address you can even write a letter, their chat are all canned so the response does not match your questions and I have been unable to get into my account on the Internet. Anybody have any ideals to help me

Would rate 0 stars if I could! We’ve been on centurylink wifi in our apartment for over a year now and after about 9 months of having our wifi only working about 50% of the time we upgraded to faster speeds thinking it was just our cheap plan…. Well fast forward another 6 months and it’s the same if not worse than it was before and for a higher cost! When we were finally able to get in contact with them they told us they would come by and look at it… took the day off for them to come in and tell us the last person who installed it installed the router wrong but they don’t have to correct wire so he has to come back… we schedule another appointment and when a different guy comes back he tells us it is not because of the wire but because the router is too old/not powerful enough for the speeds we upgraded to so he has to replace the router. Fine. We replace the router and not we are still having just as many outages as we had been prior to all of this. We have to reset the router all the time and when we do sometimes it takes HOURS on end to reset and reconnect! We have reset it before bed and still not had wifi when we wake up! Atrocious internet service stay clear at all costs!!

Spent hours and hours on their chat app in order to re-acquire an old number of ours. After they told me yes they could set it up again and gave me a day and time to install, they disappeared. Twice! They couldn't even call me or communicate with me via phone when I had to be on the road!

Customer service is in the toilet, constantly losing service, it it out a present again. They want to charge you a 100.00 bucks to change out rented equipment, you know that which belongs to them. If I had any other choice, I would be gone.

Have had CenturyLink for 20years, mainly because it's the only choice other than satellite. Customer service is horrible. Internet goes out regularly and they insist it's on my end when after talking to neighbors theirs is out too. Every call to customer service ends with them trying to sell me something rather than fixing the problem.

First of all I give zero stars for service and ineptitude. We will be without our Xfinity internet service over the Christmas weekend unless I can get Xfinity out here to fix centurylink's mistake. Centurylink was digging on our property yesterday, our line must have been cut or taken off of Xfinity and put into centurylink. Nevertheless this company is next to impossible to contact. I listened to computers for 30 minutes before getting a live person. I explained the problem very nicely and was put on hold for 40 minutes! I couldn't continue holding, so am going to call my internet company, Xfinity, instead. I know they will answer quickly and come out to fix the mess. I don't know how anyone can accept this ineptitude and lack of accessibility. Take my advice and go with Xfinity. Faster internet, much better customer service, and not much difference in price. Absolutely not recommended.
