I always hit up a Surf Style when I go on vacay to a beach. This one was very nice, lots of items to select from, and fast checkout.

Hilda R was very friendly at first until we asked her to wrap the necklaces separately. Her mood changed instantly. And she became irritated and unpleasant towards us. Unfortunately we made her work to hard by wrapping 3 necklaces. I'd avoid this shop or avoid her.

Big, cool, lots of stuff… but no postcards and nothing that sets it apart.
Surf Style on Mandalay Ave is exactly what you’d expect from a mega beach shop – loud prints, endless flip-flops, and A/C that could freeze a seagull mid-flight. It’s fun to browse, and the surf simulator is a nice gimmick. But honestly? It feels like copy-paste from every other surf shop in town.
No postcards, no real surprises, just more of the same – shiny, beachy, and forgettable. Still, it does the job if you’re in a flip-flop emergency or need a flamingo towel at 9 PM.

Disappointed with the customer service.
I waited over 10 minutes to look at the keychains, but an employee was sitting right in front of them chatting with a couple the entire time. He clearly wasn’t working and ignored me even after I politely said “excuse me.” I ended up walking away without buying anything. It’s a fun-looking store, but the service left a bad impression.

Horrible customer service.
The sales rep. charged me $11.99 for a Swiss knife ( multifunction knife ),but the sticker was showing $9.99,I’ve just noticed after paying ,then I went back and told them that they overcharged me $2 ,but they said that the price was wrong…
So I asked,Who did that?
They said,we did but we can’t do nothing about it, but talking loud , in front of the other customers, which I didn’t like it at all..
Now,who’s wrong?
I bought it thinking that I would pay the price that was on the sticker.
Note: The bar code was ok ,just the price they put on the tag was wrong but that’s not my fault…
By the way this bad review is not because of the $2. , obviously, but I DIDN’T LIKE their attitude.

Horrible customer service. The sales rep charged me 160 for 2 shirts that were only 15.99.
They deceived into believing I was getting a free shirt for buying one design shirt get other free. A ppre printed design, and charged me 55. X 3 for a crapy sticker print that ended up peeling off.
When I asked for a refund they yelled at me in front of customers and said they can’t explain each charge. No refund was given’ and the services and materials were worth $1 dollar at dollar tree. Awful people, not worth your money. Don’t waste your hard earned money. The same prints oe better are down the road further up. Don’t let them talk you into buying something you don’t know true price for. I was deceived and robbed!! Shame on you!!!!

Many choice items within the store and a great location. Customer service was horrible. on my receipt JARQAVIO WAS THE CASHIER. Said hello twice no response was just singing , not understanding that . Said thank you also no response. balled up my shirt and put it in the bag. for such a vacation spot you would think customer service would be better. I will try another location next time. Pretty said the service you receive when spending money. Definitely management needs to do more training.

8:15 still waiting. There is a group of 6 of us outside. The store is supposed to open at 8. Lights on, staff walking around inside, know we are outside. On to the next store.

The whole team has great customer service! I couldn't find something when I got home, called the store and store manager handled it professionally and I got my item.

my aunt and I went into this store (April 9th 20234) and their hermit crab section was absolutely disgusting. Their food Hasn't been changed for so long there was mold and nats on it, and you can tell none of the crabs were healthy.
