I have been a member since Truist was BB&T. I called my local branch (Clearwater Gulf to Bay) today to ask a question Summer answered the phone and asked if I "knew anyone" at the branch..I do not know anyone personally there. She said I had to call the toll free number for info. I told her I called the branch several times for info and offered my credentials over the phone with no issues before. In her condescending voice she said she had the right to not offer info. I called another local branch who offered the requested info fast and professionally. I called Summer back to ask why another branch was able to assist me and she again she had the right to refuse to give me info and said her manager was aware. I said What is your managers name and she gave me 3 different names..Ok great I chose to speak one named Joanna and Summer informed me that Joanna does not speak to customers...Reason for this rant is because I have never in 40 years of banking heard anything like this. Why was Summer so reluctant? Could it be that is was 12 noon? Could it be that she was having a bad day? ( which her tone indicated) Or could it be that Joanna gave her some bad info and then did want to try to assist me? Whatever it was , it was enough to make me change branches. Tootles

Went to sign into account as always and I used the correct ID and password and very first try they locked me out said I had tried to log in to many times??? Ridiculous and I have heart issues and gotten so upset and now having aphib episode because of something they are in error about not myself. I went through all the security codes and passed them repeatedly and still refuses to let me in my c account. I already feel sorry for individual that gets me at 8am tomorrow.

Their website is worse than any government website. It's down all the time. In this day and age there should be some standards. I really hate this bank.

Excessive 10 day hold on a check from a title company. (Not a personal check) You can easily call and verify funds. Will be switching banks as soon as this clears.

I used to go out of my way to come to this branch because the bankers were so friendly and helpful, even though there’s often a longer wait. After being greeted in such an unprofessional and rude way by a different or new teller today, I’ll just go to a different branch closer to my house from now on. Most of the bankers I’ve dealt with here were extremely pleasant and until now, made it worth coming the extra distance to this branch and dealing with the longer wait times. There are plenty of nearby locations with tellers who are capable of doing a more efficient job without an invasively rude attitude. Very disappointing.

Came in to make a car payment and asked if they could notarized a paper for me one lady told me yes but the lady who does the notary was sitting there got up went to the bathroom never came back out had me standing there waiting for nothing. Not happy and I would not switch to this bank the lady who works the counter is always friendly but the older lady never even speeks and apparently doesn't like doing work

This bank is horrible. Do not bank with them. Nothing but headaches. I’m a small business holder and have been for over a year.Last week I deposited the same checks from the same clients I always do.Over 2.000 dollars was held for a week. I’m a single mom with a disabled kid. My bills were late being paid because they had held every check for a week. And I had the funds in my account to cover those checks. When they cleared Friday I thought the nightmare was over.Nope. Another check held today. And unable to pay another bill until it clears.This bank is awful

I just spent 30 minutes in this building with no greeting, finally after waiting so long they tell me I need to wait for the only person in the building to do such a simple thing. Allison was with someone for over 40 min and no one else could help me. So I left and had to drive to the next location. DONT GO HERE IF YOU NEED TO TALK TO A TELLER.

If my first direct experience with Truist is any indication I’ll be refi-ing my car loan elsewhere asap. The auto-pay info from Suntrust didn’t transfer automatically to Truist. I couldn’t update the acct/routing number directly at the branch. I couldn’t use my debit card to pay my car loan without them processing it as a cash advance (isn’t the point of a debit card to replace checks?). I had to see three different people to get all this not accomplished- and had to reexplain three times - no one handed me off with any degree of customer service. Abysmal.
