The manager Mark, as well as Samantha are exemplary employees. They are professional, friendly, knowledgable and extremely experienced. ALWAYS beyond helpful anytime , providing expert advise !!The selection of frames, in addition to terrific prices are superb ! I have been getting my Eyewear for years at Sam's club. I have another club membership that meets my dietary needs , but I will be renewing my Sam's club membership based soley on the exceptional Optical department !Thank you Mark and Samantha !

My family and I have been shopping at Sams, since it was PACE. I took my teen son for eyeglasses there 2 years ago. He chose the most costly frame. (which looked great on him) A frame that would have cost 3X the price elsewhere. I like the three specialists that works there. The girl has a very likeable, gentle personality that works well with kids and women, she is very calm and patient. Marcus is very matter-of-fact, which works for men. He's very knowledgeable in matters that deal with the EYES, and always willing to share valuable insights on things that matters to the patients. The other gentleman also does an exceptional job, even though I've never had a chance to interact with him, other than saying 'hi' but I listen sometimes when hes with patients. I like the fact that they know, and do what they do, very well, and I would even say, with excellence. They don't have to stop, and ask someone else 12 questions, and keep back patients. Since then, my family and I, have chosen to have our eye exams, and eyewear done at Sams, and have recommended families, and friends to take a second look at the Vision Center.Together they all are a great fit, that suits The Sams Community.

As a former associate of sams, this sams club is a disgrace to all other clubs. Member experience is below par every single experience. Deserves a 0/5 stars. Can’t believe I keep my plus membership when I have Costco membership.Corporate needs to come back in and retrain management in a manner that outlines what is expected from the oversight of front line associates!!!! Member services is awful.

I wanted to personally thank both "Dave" and "Mark" for their kindness and professionalism both times I went in. I have a very high correction and it is difficult to find glasses that work with the lenses I need. Dave was very nice and helped me find a pair that would work, usually I am told to just "look around until I find a pair." That is a waste of time for me as I need to know which frames will work with correction lenses I require. Dave was very understanding and made the process very quick. I was shocked at how reasonable the prices are. The final total including the warranty was less than half of what my Dr's office quoted me! My glasses arrived in less than a week, I went in and met "Mark" who is also extremely knowledgable and appears to genuinly care about what he does. After seeing my correction, asked me if I knew I was at a higher risk for certain conditions i.e. retinal/vitreous detachment, etc. As an R.N. I greatly appreciate him doing this as not many people know what the signs and symptoms are. He fitted my new glasses and I was out the door! I absolutely love my new glasses and they are very stylish! Thank you so much!

May be misleading but giving this Sam's Club review solely on their gas. I found a Groupon on a Sam's membership that ultimately gave me a free year + $25 in rewards, an offer I could not refuse. Gas in this area can get pricey so more often than not the delta has been $.30 cheaper/gallon from a Wawa or Raceway which is a huge savings!! Unless I'm under 50mi from E, I make my way to Sam's or Costco. The location of this Sam's club is across the way from Costco (I admit I am a member of both...) but to me Sam's has an edge simply for its location right off Gulf to Bay and US-19 whereas Costco is nestled further down, another U-turn ans light away. I love love love that they have a QR code I can scan at the pump to quickly fill up my tank. As soon as you open the app and scan, it has you quickly verify your card on file. No need to dig through your wallet to pull out 1-2 cards at the pump. Such a simple way to be in and out in minutes! I often switch my wallet/bag around and mistakenly left my Costco card at home one time. Having the membership card linked to my Sam's app is such a breeze and once I was on the Costco gas line and had this realization, it was a no brainer for me to cross the street and hop on the Sam's line. The price difference was a penny off which was awesome.I do have to shave one star off simply because the line is terrible with the tight space, especially for those coming in from the parking lot vs. The highway entrance... not sure how to help this but there is absolutely no structure and once you're in the tail end of the parking lot entrance, it's an awkward single file line that isn't sure which pump it leads to... if you do want to inch towards a specific pump, you then block one of the exits to the highway... just a huge free-for-all stressful mess, but worth it for a value!

The optometrist Dr. Betz is great, kind and caring. The gentleman in glass department just the opposite. Didn’t renew membership because of him. Rude as can be.

My wife found a bag of money that someone apparently left in her shopping cart by mistake - crazy right. She turned it in to the manager Joy (what a misnomer) and she refused to file a police report choosing to keep the money "internally". She also refused to give the money back for us to file a police report (? suspicious don't ya think - not wanting the police to take custody?) We have reached out to the regional manager Don Nickens (813-689-9136) but haven't heard back from him yet. The interaction with the Clearwater Says Club Manager was sub par - considering my wife turned in a bag of cash. Shame they feel the police shouldn't be involved with this incident since it was sort of out of the ordinary. #DoTheRightThingJoyBottom line - if you lost a bag of money at Sam's club go speak with Joy - she will be the one with the new Rolex ;)

I LOVE this location. I feel very comfortable unlike the others. Most of there customers here are minorities which is a big plus. I used to have a Costco membership a few years back but I felt very uncomfortable there like I was in a Trump Rally or something ALL WHHITE. When I shop at this store because it represents our country more, a Melting Pot...LOVE IT! If you're a minority you'll feel comfortable and safe here.

Typical crowded location. If you have like 7 illegitimate kids you take care of or you are planning to feed a convention of mouths I guess its worth it. Prices aren't really great like you would think. Way better deals at any supermarket around for groceries if you just follow sales ads. Gas is the only upside cuz its usually 10 to 20 cents cheaper per gallon. But be warned the lines get longer than Route 66. I would bring a drink and at least one meal so you can get through the line sanely lol. If you have ever seen the movie Falling Down this is it in your real life. Beware of line cutters or bring an air horn to annoy them if they cut YOU. Enjoy the 72 pack of Gatorade, the 26 pounds of chicken, and the 64 oz. Of salted peanuts you just bought. Have fun and take your meds BEFORE you arrive lol

Do not shop here. Awful, awful customer service/dispute resolution. Purchased 2 tires as a pair to replace a flat. I specifically asked the non-flat tire to be put in as the spare (it was only 4000 miles old). Tire center manager wrote a note but after a mix-up during install they gave me back the blown up tire...I went back to tell them the situation and the tire center manager was nice enough and trying to help. I wouldn't get a free tire, but I offered to buy an entire 2nd pair of tires ($250+) if they gave me around a 40% discount. This was entirely reasonable as they threw away both an almost brand new tire that would have been a perfect spare, AND my actual spare tire and replaced it with literal garbage (blown-up tire). He went to speak with with store management, and they had the audacity to say they would offer a $25 gift card... a $25 gift card as compensation for throwing away TWO of my tires, and the only way to get it is to spend $250+ more at a place that just screwed me over.Will not be renewing our membership. Corporate idiocy strikes again.

Great large and clean store. Very well organized and I love the wider isles. Great selection and the sample offers are back if you are into that.
