Suzi is very “in your face”. It was like I was in the military and she was systematically questioning me and my hair history without empathy. . I turned on my heels and left. Wow just wow. Extremely confrontational at consult, not my cup of tea. In 60 years, never been this uncomfortable at hair salon..
I’m happy where I am now. Tone it down, girl!

Suzi Bernard is a bully. I've never experienced anything like this in my life and I've lived in NY & FL, seen quite a few stylists. The salon is cute and there seem to be a number of talented stylists there but not Suzi. She can't apply color correctly, will insist you schedule your next appt when you know you shouldn't due to an ever changing schedule, then chastize you if you need to change it.

I moved to Florida and like many.. FREAKED about finding a hair stylist as it’s the most nerve wracking connection to make in a new location.Suzi was an INSTANT match! She’s amazing at what she does and perfected my color and cut on DAY 1! I’ve referred soooo many clients her way and I will continue to as my hair is always exactly what I want when I leave the salon. I have naturally dark brown hair, and I’m a now forever blonde, as she keeps it healthy and maintained every 4-5 weeks. I would not go anywhere else! Love her!Services: Hairstyling

I was recommended this salon by a friend and by google reviews.I myself am a hairstylist so was pleased to see everyone had good reviews.While the atmosphere was nice and my stylist, Suzi was kind…I would never let my client walk out of my chair how she did. I asked for a shoulder length haircut, long layers, and texture to minimize the weight in my heavy hair.I also asked for highlights or a balayage (whatever she thought would get me more blonde and look more natural.)She gave me a hair cut that was shorter than my shoulders when dry (I have a wave to my hair) and I have the most uneven and copper highlights I have ever gotten. Now, I have been doing hair for 11 years and I know a bleach bleed mark when I see one.She left a color splotch (bleed mark) right in the very front of my dark brown hair. Not only did she do that, but she attempted to cover her mistake by putting a warm toned, permanent color over all of my roots. My hair is naturally an ash brown so this doesn’t blend.I was informed SHE only tones with Demi permanent colors (which is what you are supposed to do). I went home and tried to put a darker color Demi permanent (this means it washes out) over the copper tones in the front. Nothing happened. Based on MY professional experience, it looks like she used too low of developer, caused a bleed mark in my highlights and then used the totally wrong color and type of color to try and cover it up.This is after I was charged $180. I don’t mind paying for a good service, but it’s no wonder she doesn’t have any clients booked.If you want someone to talk to, Suzi is kind. But if you want a good haircut and evenly distributed color, or even the color you asked for; Suzi is not the stylist for you. I felt as thought she messed up and then deceived me by trying to hide it. I will not be back and I will surely let everyone in a 10 mile radius know about this place.First photo is what she gave me, the second is what I started with.?Service: Hairstyling
