I have been to this store on Missouri a couple times and have received very helpful service. One time I thought I needed a new windshield wiper assembly. It had fallen apart and I couldn't figure out how it was supposed to work and I didn't want my windshield to get damaged. The clerk went out to my vehicle and looked at it and fit the pieces back into place in a half minute. He said it appeared to be ok. It has been about 7 months since then and it has worked very reliably. He wouldn't charge me anything!
That won me over as a customer.

I had a situation today where I was driving home from my Wawa coffee run and my car just started sputtering and idling horribly out of nowhere. Now my anxiety is….well…. Let’s just say it’s the stuff of nightmares, so I am clearly losing it at this point ??. I call my husband, who is a truck driver so he is across the country at the moment which doesn’t help my complete nervous meltdown?, and he says to take it to OReillys. When I walked in I was greeted by the assistant manager, Daquan, who told me not worry and I was in good hands. He walked out and thoroughly inspected under the hood while testing certain things but couldn’t do a whole lot since no lights were on at this point to indicate any particular issue. So he advised me to take it to a mechanic after eliminating certain things it may have been. No sooner did I pull out of the parking lot did the check engine light one on. I went right back and him and another worker came right to my rescue, hooked up their diagnostic tester (whatever it’s actually called idk) and figured out exactly what it was and then fixed the issue in literally a minute. Absolutely saved my entire day! Not all hero’s wear capes and these gentleman were definitely my hero’s today?♂️! I wish I knew the other gentleman’s name but I didn’t even ask??♀️. He had a nice big beard though ??♀️?. Definitely recommend going here! ??

“Fair” pricing. Staff are always helpful. They have large jugs of hydraulic fluid and oil. Which most other places don’t.

I've used O'Reilly's for many years off and on when I need something. It seems like the caliber of employees has really gone to basically people that know absolutely nothing about how to fix simple things. This evening in particular I went in to ask for a couple things. First of all the guy was on the phone about trying to get his shift covered or something. He was a young guy probably in his twenties. I was going to walking around like "gee I need help". There was a nice young gal also very young. She asked if she could help. I needed some exhaust manifold studs. I told her there were some on the shelf but I'm not sure if they would fit as there were different thread sizes. She looked something up with the computer and said they can't order them nor can they see what size are in that car. The guy came over to try to help and he did nothing but act like I know it all in front of her but had no clue. He was saying that I needed to take one of these out and bring it in. I told him that's a pretty big deal when you're taking the exhaust manifold off Just to see what size. He was kind of argumentative. I pondered around a little bit looking for what I needed and couldn't find it. I went to the desk to have them look up the exhaust header and they told me it couldn't be ordered. I was striking out. I tried to explain to this arrogant kid at the computer how I was going to flush the power steering fluid. He pointed me to a hand pump siphon. I told him that would not work to get all of the fluid out of the actual pump, but sure it could take some fluid out of the reservoir. I basically explained to him how this is done. You jack the car up so there's no wait on the front wheels You unhook the output hose of the pump to a bucket on the ground or a coffee can sort of thing. As you slowly turn the wheel the pump spits out the old fluid. He couldn't understand this and look something up on the internet which was some bozo in his garage that obviously was not a mechanic. He was definitely arguing and talking about things he had no clue about. I would much more appreciate somebody telling me they don't know about something than to BS their way through it. He clearly was overconfident and pretending like he knew something. It was very annoying.
