Best tennis courts in the Tampa Bay area. Great lights, courts in good condition, and most importantly, the fences have windscreens that help the line of sight. Reservations are in two hour windows. Wish they had online reservations!

We are here right now and these two women that work here are saying that the courts are too wet to play on. They are literally almost dry. She told us that she would try to dry them and then we watched her take a leaf blower to them for about 15 minutes. About 20 minutes later, they started to lock the gates. When we approach them and asked, they said that the courts were wet. We pointed out how they were almost dry which then they said that there is no one here to play.. when we were there literally to play. A young female worker proceeded to scream at us from across the parking lot about how it’s been raining all day. She then walked up to us, and apologize, but still remain hostile towards us. She stated that she tried to dry the courts for 30 minutes and which I reminded her that she only did for 16 minutes as we were watching her from our vehicles. She then yelled again, and said that the leaf blower is heavy and she is not maintenance. I asked her why she lied to us and at that point I decided to leave as it was not worth my time.. you will be receiving several more reviews like mine, as there were a bunch of us that play pickle ball that are very upset with the treatment that we just received. Maybe we will just take our group to another location moving forward so we do not have to deal with this kind of treatment again.

A really nice facility that is reasonably priced. The entire facility is one of the best around in terms of the quality of the clay courts and upkeep.

Beautiful facility but City employees don't care about promoting tennis / pickleball. They are not helpful. No cash accepted. Debit or credit card only. Never full. The Clearwater recreation department should be ashamed.

Heat index is over 100 degrees for a USTA match and McMullen refuses to allow paying players to get ice. Not a great customer service move. Heat related injuries and incidents increase in this type of weather especially in Florida. The young girl just told me to take it up with her boss.

Great public courts. Clay and hard court and pickleball. A hitting wall if you're just looking to practice a bit.

Great Clay Courts Open to the Public! I was visiting from Virginia and a friend recommended this to me. What a find. The courts are maintained and staff very helpful. It will cost around $7.50 for a visitor to play but will worth the two hours of fun.

McMullen public tennis facility is a nice facility. In past I played tennis here and they have healthy tennis community. Today I play pickleball. McMullen doesn't have dedicated PB courts yet. They do have 4-6 courts with PB lines overplayed on the courts with portable PB net systems that can be setup and taken down without any fuss.Nice facility with benches and water fountains on the courts. Nice screens to cut wind. City park like setting.
