Luckily, I had a good experience with them. We ordered a box of red wines on a mail-out promotion we received two months ago. All the wine we tried so far taste good. We had to cancel the subscription for personal reasons, but upon doing personal budgeting, I haven't found them charging us anything extra (on the contrary to other people's comments).

Do not join this fraudulent company. I cancelled my account with no outstanding balance 9 months ago and just received a notice from a collections agency that I owe Laithwaites a $223 cancellation fee from last December. I never received a previous notice and I never received any wine from them that was unpaid. There is no evidence on my account that any wine was ever shipped or an outstanding balance but 9 months later I have to pay them $223 or my credit will be ruined. Absolutely untrustworthy company and the wine was mediocre at best which is why I cancelled in the first place. How can it be possible to create a balance almost a year later and force me to pay it? The collections company’s response was that they weee told there was a cancellation fee I never paid. A cancellation fee 9 months later? I will be contacting the BBB next.

First order was mostly cheap low quality so I canceled.
On canceling I was offered a huge discount on the next order to stay.
They just billed me full price and claim to be shipping next week.
Emailed customer service to tell them not to ship it.
Also fully canceled this time.

It should be known that Laithwaites is not a vineyard nor winemaker; it's a marketing brand completely operated out of Costa Rica by Teleperformance. Thus expect only interaction with their website and agents in Costa Rica. Their 7 degree Kevin Bacon factor could be that Teleperformance is a French company, and France has grapes.

I never ordered from them they stole my information from Mayc's and started sending me collection mails to get paid for imaginary amount!!!I called them to report it but they are still haracing me with collection mails.... Be aware please report them to better business bureau!

Company is fine. Once I had my card charged for a Christmas special bc I hadn’t seen the email and i was refunded easily. They even gave me a credit. I have been very happy with the wine too.

You know I’ve actually really enjoyed this service until the latest shipment. Bottles arrived upside down and leaking. Case for shipping is destroyed. The solution? We will send you a label? Never mind that the packaging is ruined it also had a bunch of garbage stuffed in there to act as packaging stuffer. Unbelievable poor service and third party vendor who shipped this should have been vetted.

cannot understand all the negative reviews. we've been a member for 2 years and have not received a mediocre bottle yet. love the fact we dont leave the house to play the wine store guessing game. the wine buyers seem to know what theyre doing. not for bargain hunters, but prices are fair, more for convenience hunters. easy to adjust deliveries by skipping online or calling. the naysayers must not read the fine print or are not computer literate.

I ordered from then I’ve time, with a promotion from HelloFresh or something. Just wanted to try, and it was not worth the money for me. This was at the beginning of 2020. I STILL get phone calls from them about signing back up
