My gf brought her car in to fix the AC & was quoted $2800. I brought her car to my mechanic and her AC was fixed for UNDER $500!! Buyer Beware!!! Get another opinion before having this place do ANYTHING!!!!

I went to this store today because they were referred to me by someone I know. There is a sign at the door that says "FREE AIR CHECK" The AC in my car was not working, so I arrived to the store to leave my car. I went home to wait for them to give me an estimate. It was 1:30 and they haven't called, so I called them and told me they were busy, they were a reputable company and they try to accomodate everybody, my car hasn't been checked yet. At 4:30 I called again and asked them at what time they closed, and they told me 5:30. I told them how they were going to give me a diagnosis and repair my car in one hour. They told me if after the diagnosis I authorized the repair, I could pick up my car before they closed. 10 minutes later, they called me and told me my car was low on freon, so there was a possible leak, they need it to vacum the AC and take it apart before they told me how much the repair was going to cost me. That work was going to be around $440 .... and then the cost of the REAL repair. I told them i was going to pick up my car. DO NOT GO there. They are scam bags. They keep your car the whole day and because they know you need it and they had it for one day, they just hope you pay whatever they charge you. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!

ICE Cold Air is a terrific car repair shop! Dennis is a very kind and knowledgeable Manager. I had my a/c repaired along with other routine mIntenance. I was very satisfied with the detailed estimate and quality of work performed. The shop is clean and organized -- another good sign that his team is detailed oriented. I strongly recommend their service!

Ice Cold Air in Clearwater, Florida was very easy to work with when I needed to replace my A/C compressor in my 2014 Santa Fe in July (mid-summer). They were referred to me by a family member and then a co-worker. I now have "ice cold air". And the bonus was they saved me over $1000.00 from the repair estimate I received from a local Hyundai dealership.

My 2019 Pacifica wasn't blowing cold air well, and after taking it in to the shop, I got a clear readout of what the issue was - with pictures and explanation of the problem. It was an expensive problem to get handled, but it was worth it, I think. After getting the car back, the cold air wasn't consistently blowing and, after dealing with some scheduling issues on my end, they diagnosed and fixed the remaining, completely separate issue of a wonky temperature sensor at no charge. Even gave me an oil change for free.
Top customer service from everyone I spoke with, I've gotten follow ups to make sure that I had a good experience, and I'll definitely be back for any future issues.

Dennis, Travis, and the whole crew at Ice Cold Auto Air are just outstanding in every way. When the AC went out in my 2018 Tahoe, they had it diagnosed and repaired in less than a day, and at a more than fair price. These guys know what they are doing, they know how talk to people, and they insist that their customers know and are comfortable with exactly what they are getting for their hard earned dollar...they explained everything in clear terms, and even sent pictures showing exactly what the problem was before asking me if I wanted to proceed with the repairs...really, I think this was probably the best auto repair experience I have ever had...so good in fact that I would not even consider another shop in the future. Well done guys! Thanks again!

Not only provided detailed summary of everything that needed work but was honest about what needed done now or could wait till later. Prices were more affordable what I had been quoted from other shops. Work was done quickly and I was kept updated.

My 2012 Ram 1500 suddenly lost A/C and I called Ice Cold Air in Clearwater and spoke to Dennis. He was very pleasant and professional and told me to bring my truck in for a free A/C check. It turned out that I had a badly leaking evaporator coil, much to my dismay. I was a bit concerned about having my entire dashboard and center console removed in order to replace the coil since I was concerned about rattles and squeaks afterwards but after discussing the situation with Dennis who is also the owner, he assured me that his techs were with him for a long time and were very good at what they do. I decided to go ahead and do this expensive repair as I felt confident that it would be properly done. I must say that I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and I couldn't even tell that the dashboard and center console were removed. I believe that James was the technician and he did an awesome job ?. In addition, the work is warrantied for 12-months P&L. I had the repair done 2 weeks ago but wanted to make sure that no rattles or issues developed before posting my review. I must say that everything is rock solid with no squeaks or rattles and the A/C is ice cold with a vent temperature of 46-degrees, even with outside temperatures above 90-degrees! Needless to say, I'm very happy with my repair and would highly recommend this Ice Cold Air location if you're looking for an honest, trustworthy and reasonable repair facility.
