I was picking up a rental a 4 pm. I got here at 4:05 pm. And the employee was gone. For any company you give people some grace in time. As a manager myself for a clinic if my patients are 10 mins late I just don't tell them to leave. I still take them and provide a service. The manager for Uber Heather at this hertz told me after I drove an hour to pick up my rental that I was at 4 pm. She told me that her computer system stops working a 4 pm. How does a computer system stop working at 4 pm when that is the pick up time for the car. That is why I'm writing this. If some was 5 mins late due to traffic or another reason how do you just tell some they can't pick up their rental. And don't try to rectify the issue knowing the circumstances of driving an hour to pick up rental. Also give people time to pick up. They close a 4 o clock but you pick up at 4. Heather is the worst manager I have ever met as a manager myself. She made no effort to help me. Terrible employee and manager. Sad. Just Sad that someone put her in management.

AWEFUL EXPERIENCE. I had a reservation to pick up a vehicle at 1 PM. I had arrived about an hour early to pick up My rental reservation. The lady working at the desk told me that she would not be able to fill my reservation until the end of the day. This is a problem. 1. I should have been notified when I booked my reservation that they may not have a vehicle for me. 2. They should have notified me the morning of via text message, email, or phone, and none of this was done. I took time off work to get this vehicle, Because they do not work very early or late hours. Not only did it Inconvenience my day, put my entire weekend plans with the vehicle.
Not sure if the problem is with an employee not doing their job, or hurts not having an acceptable Standard operating procedure. Nevertheless, poor experience and will not use them again. I had to cancel my reservation because I could not accommodate another pick up time. They would not deliver the vehicle to me, or allow me to go pick up the vehicle at the other Hertz location.

Make yourself a favor and just go straight to avis/budget etc.
Made a reservation a week before pick up
Reservation was made for a few months of rental
I know Hertz for a bad company and when I made a reservation, the prize was too good so I couldn’t assist
Came to the location after a flight and they just said it’s too cheap for you to get it. You can get it . Bad service, bad people.
Just go straight to the other companies it’s not worth your time

I rented a car here for uber. The car i recived had not been cleaned. It had been smoked in. It had duct tape on the sunroof. And there was a blood stain on the visor. I spent over half the 2 week period sick after picking the car up. And now that i have returned the rental 2 days after ot was returned they charged me for another week. I called and was basically lied to and told to call an 800 number i already called and after 30 minutes of hold time, it hung up. This company is a joke.

This place is an absolute joke. The worker there was very good however I got sent here from the Chevy dealership while they work on my vehicle which is under warranty. The clown at the desk tells me I have to pay $14 a day an extra insurance out of my own pocketand if I don’t and there’s even just a small little chip on the windshield, they will charge me $1400. What a scam.

I been renting a car for 26 weeks and Heather Rounseville have been magnificent . I can not stress enough how professional and welcoming she is. Everyone at the largo location are excellent. Even with the overload of customers they have, they respond to your call in a timely fashion.
I have no words to say that this location is on point with customer service. I will 110% recommend renting fron them.

They gave me a messed up rental (half tank of gas, headlight out, tire pressure issues and kept overheating..possibly even transmission issues) i wasn’t able to uber in it safely and ran out of time to make the money i needed to even pay for the next week of having it.. they wouldn’t answer the phone or whenever they did i was in hold for an hour only for the call to disconnect and when i finally did get it towed back to them, to get a new vehicle they wanted damn near $700. Not to mention double charging my bank account so i am overdrafted as hell… you are better off going to another location tbh.
