Today David helped my wife and myself set up a pre-plan cremation package for my elderly mother. David was quick to respond to my inquiry and we set up an appointment right away. Convenient location, and David provided great service. He was very kind and professional. The process was very well explained. Very straightforward, as well as affordable. Highly recommended.

Nothing is worse than death by accident for it leaves the one behind in shock. David knows this and his care and patience for me will always, from my heart, be appreciated.

my nephew passed away in florida recently we used this place as they quoted us a price of 929.00 for his services we asked if this price included mailing him to us in ny state, was told the price included that, my sister my niece and i all called to be sure it included the shipping and 3 times were told yes after the money was sent my sister recieved a call saying her sons cremation was done and to ship him would be another 150.00 and they were overnighting him, her son reached us yesterday he was cremated on wednesday the price on the package was 91.05 his certicate of cremation was the size of a 5 by 7 photo when we questioned dave he told me point blank that the postage was 91.05 and the rest was their profit and that the overnight depended on where you live. my words to all are they care more for profit than the people grieveing death is a hard concept but your own child is devastating shame on you people we hope to recieve the death certificate when they have a cause of death unless thats another dollar amount which they stated came with one death certficate very unhappy and thinking about speaking to my lawyer on this on my sisters behalf.

Stopped by to set up a pre-paid cremation. We didn't want any funeral home service/visitation...so, you get it.They were very friendly and professional. All of the documents were clearly explained. The pre-payment is held in a trust until the service is needed.This is definitely the way to go if you don't want a big expensive funeral that your loved ones would have to pay for. The price is about one third of what the big funeral home chains are asking.

Florida Family Cremations is EXCELLENT!!!David was one of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered,The man who came to pick up my husband took great care in Explaining to me and my children what was about to happen.before doing anything. He handled him with great care and gave us time before taking him.David compassionately called me to inform me that my husband had arrived safely and used his first name.He kept us informed on every step of the process from getting permits to scheduling the day.They did not try to gouge me in our greatest time of grief like other crematoriums who charge exorbitant fees for watching your loved one go in, which they don’t tell you by law your loved one is in a box and you will not actually see their body.David was very caring and I highly recommend Florida Family Cremationsfor their compassion and affordability

As the Estate Administrator for both my parents some years back, I was impressed with the idea of preplanning ones cremation and funeral as the national company my parents used made the whole process such that I had to do literally nothing as they handled everything! With that in mind I started getting info from 5 local companies who provide that service and they all provided nice 'in-home' presentations to my wife and I and the prices ranged from$1,800 each to $3,800 each. But I remembered going to a local Better Living for Seniors event a few years back and thought there was a cremation/funeral planning company at the event. After a few website searches I found Florida Family Cremations right here on Ulmerton Road in Pinellas County. For under $1,000 each I was able to preplan and prepay for both our cremations for under $2,000. That even includes the death certificates, transportation of up to 75 miles of your remains and county required permits etc. I recommend to all to do your homework, decide what you want to happen for your funeral/cremation when you pass on and then call David at Florida Family Cremations. You'll be glad you did. If you are a vet be sure ask about the veterans discount!

I cannot give them enough stars. My father passed unexpectedly and he did not have insurance. I was trying my best to find somewhere that would be able to cremate him with short notice. I found them during an online search and they handled everything and were extremely compassionate to my family. They walked me through every step and made it as easy as possible. Thank you all so much.

After 2 discouraging calls to other companies, that were almost bordering on the verge of rudeness, what a pleasant experience by calling Florida Family Cremations. Trey when answering the phone made me feel so comfortable, Haley was so helpful with all the administrative details, and David tied it all together when I went in to talk in person. What a wonderful experience, which I never expected after my first 2 calls to other companies. I would highly recommend their services. A great company and super compassionate employees.
