Horrible experience. They cancelled my pre-paid reservation and left me stranded. I had to catch an Uber to the airport to rent from another Budget location. Manager on site was rude and disrespectful. I wouldn’t rent here if you’re counting on good service.

Waited 7 days for a convertible on Budget's wait list, only to be denied and have no car in inventory at pickup time, just horrible. Wasted 7 days waiting for the car! Find another company, Budget does not care.

I had rented a car a few day in advance and had set for a 8am pickup at 7:58am that morning I got a voicemail saying they did not have any cars. They were out of cars last night and because they were empty yesterday they were empty this morning. There suggestion was to either wait till later that day which was absolutely not an option or call the 800 number to see if they could find a car at another locationHorrible customer service, if you know the close of business the day before that you had no cars why would you wait till 2 minutes scheduled pickup to say we don’t have a car for you. Secondly why would you if you have no cars and obviously not having to do a whole that for your day make the call to corporate and make an attempt to help

The man working the front desk has a bad case of little man syndrome.He started off with an attitude. I’m not sure why because it was my first time meeting/speaking to him.. I’m guessing it’s because the other location sent me to this one 20 minutes before my rental was to start, to say they didn’t have the car? That’s another story but either way.. I don't think me asking if you needed to see my drivers license constitutes for a hissy fit.. but I guess I'd be upset too if I was a little man with big feelings.I could understand if I was askingstupid/obvious questions, or even aplethora of questions.. but I only asked 3 questions before the other gentleman with him took over. If you have to come to this location... try not to... if you must, work with the older gentleman with glasses and white hair. He noticed little man getting worked up and started answering the questions on his behalf.Little man has a very short haircut, wore a watch & necklace. None of them were wearing name tags. I thought the lollipop guild was supposed to be kind…

The guy who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful! We rented our car from the Orlando Airport originally and when we had questions and concerns we talked to the guy at this place and he let us know that the airport rental people like to scam people and he helped us get some money back!

Horrible, called and made reservations, got to the office to find out they won't accept a temporary driver's license. Waste of time and money getting to the office to be turned away.

Had an issue with a car while at Clearwater Beach on vacation. Other then wait time we were giving another vehicle and was on our way. The only one working that day was excellent.

Car was ready when I got there. Did everything online so was in & out in less then 5 minutes. Staff was great. Would recommend for pickup. I returned the car to another location. Car was clean on pickup.

I upgraded my car after waiting so long to find what I booked. So glad I did the GMC Denali was amazing. The android auto system was so helpful. Could have just done with someone showing how it all worked.

Paid for an SUV you months ago the vehicle was filthy the wiper on the right side did not work which is really terrible the back door wouldn't lock and the guy behind the counter, was a total clown that didn't give a s*** about anybody or anyting he looks like he was there on the distress you should go maybe go work at Publix sale paper plastic is more suited for you

I was given a filthy car with a tire pressure light on. Turns out the tires were missing the caps where you put air in so who knows how long the car was leaking air or possibly flat? Very unsafe to be driven that way and clearly the car was not inspected when the last person checked it in. Tried to exchange the car at another location (this one was closed or about to close) and that was another disaster. Ended up leaving the car without an exchange because the Tampa airport refused to give me another car after another worker already took the car!! This ruined my plans for the day and had to Uber home from the airport!! Budget's overall customer service is a nightmare. Do not rent with them at all!! I will never rent with them again after this experience.

The St. Pete airport location (because of corporate not the location!) was overbooked and gave us a cargo van! We took it for the night and then called the Cleveland ave Clearwater beach location and they were super! Had us come right down and get a replacement. Great location.

A lot of hidden fees. I paid for a rental and paid everything online. When I arrived to the place, the team member was very rude. I paid $600 for a 6 day rental (inc. protection which is 28/daily and a underage fee of $300.) ……plus a $250 refundable deposit. So, $850 total. The car smelled like someone hotboxed cigarettes…. The team member didn’t care. Fast forward to day 5 of having the rental , I called for a 2 day extension, my car was charged immediately for two charges of $98. I returned the vehicle (Toyota Camry) a day earlier than expected. I did not get reimbursed for the day that I didn’t use. The manager was very rude. He told me that I also will not get my $250 deposit back and I owe an additional $442 for the extension. I explained that my card was charged twice at the time that I extended it. Therefore , my balance was paid. He stated that the $850 plus the other two charges were for the vehicle only. He also edited my e-receipt thank god that I have the paper one as well. When the paper was shown, he didn’t apologize.. he said “oh, I guess that did include everything” ….. I then said “so where is this additional $442 charge coming from? He said he didn’t know…. I said “I don’t understand “ … he then got frustrated and asked me what it was that I didn’t understand. I don’t understand how he wanted me to pay $442 for something that he couldn’t even explain. He then talked to one of the team members there and came back and said “this is for the extension and another underage fee” …………. And then, I return the car on a full tank and they charge me nine dollars a gallon for gas & another miscellaneous $96 charge. Basically.”, I paid $600 for an underage fee and got screwed out of the rest of my money. It’s hard enough being a nurse, going to school, having a crunched schedule, and dealing with my recent events…. This place was anything but stress free. I wouldn’t recommend.

Awesome experience. The two old guys running the desk were awesome. and very old. ? Fair prices great service. Too bad they’re so old. id like to use em again soon but geez. who knows if they’ll be around ?
