Great atmosphere, good drinks, food was also top notch, service was out of this world!!Rooms: Rooms are clean and spacious.Walkability: There is so much to do within walking distance we couldn't get it all in 4 days.

What a disappointment this resort is, to say the least! The staff is consistently harassing guest about having insulated cups of water and food from outside vendors. Then when you purchase food and cups the resort as they ask, you get harassed even more. The security and management staff also illegally search through personal belongings. This is not a place to come for a relaxing vacation unless being harassed every 5 mins is fun for you. I would never recommend this resort to anyone. The management staff need’s to go back to hospitality management school. The hospitality is subpar at best. Stop trying to nickel and dime everyone. The room are is major need of repair and safety needs, so maybe instead of harassing guest you should pay attention to the real needs of your resort. Sarah and Rosemary from the management were nothing but disrespectful, rude, and unwilling to listen to any issue. Mr. Shepherd, you have a good thing going here on a beautiful piece of property stop letting your staff ruin it for your guests. It’s really sad that this has to be said!

You're security staff has harassed our very large group from day 1. We bought items and snacks from the store located in your hotel, for the beach. We were still told we can't have those items on the beach. Literally water mugs and bottles of water to stay hydrated were bought and told we can't have on the beach. We talked to other groups and they were also harassed by security staff! We will not be back next year!

PAID for 3 rooms a month prior to our Easter arrival. Celebrating my 40th birthday party. Again, I Booked & paid in full for my guests and specifically booked for a king bed in the condo suit and they gave me 2 queen. Problem was I needed the counter space & didn't want another bed for Bday cake n food. Since limited counter space I used 2 small cocktail tables from the hallway entrance. I was so embarrassed when SECURITY & Police came and threatened to throw all my guests out of the hotel for stealing tables that I just rearranged to use in my condo They OVER REACTED askin all of us to leave the premises at 9:30 pm. Easter eve with small kids n senior citizens. What a disgrace SECURITY contract should be reevaluated with more customer friendly personnel. We were having and trying to just enjoy our stay & the Head of security should be FIRED. Treating well mannered families threatening to vacated the property. All for borrowing 2 cocktail tables. Never rent a room again there. This isn't including renting out the VIP section for our friends who joined us later that evening. Spent a lot of money to feel like a CRIMINAL on my Birthday in front of my family and friends on Easter! HORRIBLE

The music is OBNOXIOUSLY loud, and doesn't stop until midnight. It is very audible from even the farthest room, with all doors closed, and the AC unit inside the room blasting at full speed!!!The hotel is very dated, the pool is too small for the amount of guests.Plus one star for the service / people - they are great. Overall though: stay away!!

Stopped here for some drinks and late night food. Our server told us she was leaving for the day after 2 hours of drinking she was still there and never returned to our table. Had to go to the bar for drinks and flagged down another server for food. Great location but service gets zero stars.

It was the first time my husband and I were in Clearwater Beach for a Phillies pre-season game. We stayed at the Shephard's Resort and was very happy with the location, the beach, the food & drinks. Toni at the front desk who checked us in was great. Food at the Tiki Bar was good and so were the drinks and service. The rooms were nice, we had a gulf view, bed was very comfortable. I do think the hotel and the rooms can use some updating. Otherwise it was very nice and would go back.

Always love coming here for a day trip. Valet parking only 20 dollars and a beach pass with cabana for 30 dollars it’s totally worth it. The water is calm and the sand is pure. It’s an inlet so I don’t worry too much with the kids playing there. Service to your cabana is always a bonus.
