We like to frequent the tasty restaurant at this golf course. The ruben, philly cheese steak & onion rings are our favorites. The place is a bit run down, but they have a good cook on premise so we turn a blind eye to the surroundings & enjoy our meals there.

In a beautiful setting this course has passed its best time … lots of dog legs right and left and hills make it interesting even though the fairways are not in the best of shape ! On a positive note the greens have peen preserved in good shape ! For the price it was great fun !!!

I enjoy golfing at CSGC. Pretty nice for a public course. Lots of mature pines on the course. Wildlife is abundant. They have a full bar and hot food at the club house.

Lived here 6 years. It's in the worst condition Ive ever seen it in. Latest Grounds Keeper ruined the course. Fairways are DEAD! The only green grass on this course is in the rough. Tee boxes 50% dead and greens are no better. Some may blame it on lack of rain but, what are the sprinklers for?

Stu, the manager, is a complete jerk.
He’d rather chastise his guests and workers than tend to his fried course which has nothing but dead spots and weeds throughout. We looked past this downfall as we were here to enjoy a family outing…until….
Turns out Stu (and his friends he was swinging to impress) were behind us at some point and ordered a really nice worker to catch up to us for the sole purpose of questioning if we paid to golf. Ummm, don’t you see us in your PAID FOR golf cart?? Embarrassing even for the worker, he requested our receipt which we happily produced, and apologized after seeing we in fact spent money on this dump.
Mr. Stu apparently couldn’t wait for the time it took his worker to question us and out of nowhere, rolls up over the hill, tees off WITH US STILL STANDING THERE, and almost hits our cart.
Putting my family in danger to fuel his ego has fueled my post to the public. Maybe he should cancel his tee time and actually MANAGE the course and treat the people who contribute to his paycheck with respect.
I hadn’t even read the previous negative reviews before posting…maybe the downturn of reviews since 2022 speaks volumes of the management and ownership of this course. Owners employ managers, therefore the owner is just as much at fault. ??♀️

Absolute goat farm! How can people leave 5 stars, have you seen a golf course?If you're interested in a round of golf, please stay away, don't believe the 5 star reviews.Btw, don't go to the restaurant and sit in the chairs, there's something growing on them.
