Extremely convenient for me,as I live on the outskirts of town. It's a great place to puck up milk or laundry supplies.

I've lived in Wedgefield for a couple years now and seeing as how there aren't a lot of businesses in close proximity yet, I've frequented this store often when needing to quickly run out to get something. It's the worst. The service here has been bad since my wife and I moved here but lately it seems like they've just completely given up. The store is often messy and challenging to navigate, trash is always overflowing outside, I've witnessed countless uncomfortable moments between employees and customers, and they just don't seem to stock a lot of basic items anymore. I've gone there 5 different times over the past month to grab some quick items ranging from dog food to bread and I've walked out empty handed every single time. I honestly don't think there's a single reason for me to shop here any longer and it bogs my mind. Like I said, there's not a lot of options out here and this is basically a general store. This business has no reason to be failing this hard. It just needs to be decent and have useful items. I've seen some reviews about expired and broken items being bought here and it doesn't surprise me at all. Most of the items in this store look like they were stocked on the shelves years ago and never touched again. Buying food items here is very dodgy and I wouldn't recommend (speaking from experience). Everything in this store is junk, basically. You can't even run in to get dog food anymore as they haven't sold any in over a month. They rearranged their shelves to suggest that they wont be selling it anymore too. Did kibble really mess with your overhead that much? You'll have better luck finding what you need at the 7/11 next door than this entire dollar store. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

Won't be going back to this store. Saw a rat on top of can goods. Was wondering why they stopped stocking bread products. Haven't stocks bread in a while. Now I know the answer. Will drive the extra miles to Publix

Free pet rat with every purchase. All joking aside, I wish they'd just close this place. It has constant problems with rats and trash overflowing. The entire place overwhelmingly smells like feces, and I'm appalled that they'd have their workers even work in those conditions. It makes me sad that this place is apart of our neighborhood.

Why....or how.....are Wedgefield residents still going here? How is it even possible that there are any good reviews? Is it family members who feel bad for the negative reviews. I have never seen so much indifference and lack of care from employees in a retail environment. Im not even sure i can blame the employees. Some of them are young and probably don't know any better. A culture needs to be established by management. I've seen one of the managers though and it speaks volumes. This is the only store I have ever been to where when there is a long line the little person behind the counter slowly meanders over to her boom box (which is already playing annoying "music " no one wants to hear) and turns it up; comes back and slowly rings up items while sort of dancing. While there are still 7 or 8 other people waiting. This is the only store where a very polite cashier sees another employee stocking candy or something and she says "we have a line can you help" and he yells "they'll have to wait!" This is the only store that I've brought back expired items I had purchased, showed it to them, and they just say "thanks for letting us know...." I ask "is that it" and she says "oh.....yeah....ummm. did you want another one instead". This is the only store where after the story above I found their little "manager" and showed that person the expired items. Showed there were still some on the shelf and just for fun I went back 2 weeks later and the exact same items were in the shelf......i know it was the same because the way the boxes were crushed was easily identifiable. Oh....and the expiration was over a year! This is the only store that advertises a 9pm closing time but we jokingly have said we better get there at 8:45 because they lock he door at 8:50 and Plumpsy McGee points at his watch when you try to open the door not expecting it to be closed at 8:50. FYI....getting there at 8:45 on a night they close at 9 is sometimes not early enough. This is the only store that not only has a broken fridge on the regular but its not even room temperature in the fridge ....it is hot. They leave all the drinks in there too instead of moving them to the other half empty fridge but the real issue......it stays like that for weeks. There are a couple cashiers who are nice to everyone. There are a couple who are not nice to anyone and you seem to be bothering them. And there are a couple who are only nice to people who are like them. It is a horrible culture. I get its a trashy store typically but their behavior and indifferent attitudes are far worse. Wedgefield didn't want this place to begin with. They snuck it in while everyone was bickering over the school. Why keep going? I hear nothing but negativity from people so it's shocking to see any positive reviews. It may be inconvenient to drive somewhere else but I think I'll start questioning the urgency of my "needs" with them anymore. Perhaps it can meet the same fate as the one on 50 when it gets some competition and lazy people have to try. Ill take an empty storefront for a little while.....maybe someone can turn it into a gym.

The parking lot is always full of trash and boxes from the store and the outside garbage can is overflowing. Also, there are certain cashiers and an asst manager who are so lazy, rude, unhelpful and stand around doing nothing while the line is backed up of at least 10 people. When asked to open a register, they ignore you and the request. Poor staff but a convenient place to shop so I go there, unfortunately.
