DIYers beware. Make sure you know what precuts lumber are. I submitted my home plan to Townsend and they did not read the home plan thoroughly. I needed 9 ft studs because the finished ceiling is 9.5 and they gave me 9 foot precut, which means it came even shorter than 9 feet. They actually reduced the 4 1/2 for the bottom plate and the double top. This was not explained to me by the salesperson or the office. Then they had me pay more for the lumber in order to do an exchange for the right size. Their process is not user friendly and a little complex for our DIY needs.
