Needed new tires, ordered and paid for $1,300.00 worth 8 months ago, go in for an oil change and they tell me they can't rotate my tires because they are different sizes, REALLY, because I bought them HERE.....goes inside come back out, you're correct mame, we will get a new, right size tire ordered, they call me, I go in and have said tire put on....3weeks later my tire light comes on, pull into Big Bend Chevrolet and they tell now that my tires are "separating "......AND won't do ANYTHING about it, REALLY!? Go to Gainesville and they tell me I have the same size tire all the way around and in a Camaro that's not what's called for....call Big Bend Chevrolet and service MANAGER says: " I guess we screwed that up all they way around ", DID NOT OFFER ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CREATED! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Had a very ugly sound coming from my equinox. Had it towed to big bend. Got to it that day(even though it was short notice) they finally found a gash in my wheel well and figured out I'd had something stuck. It had worked lose and was gone. They didnot charge me a thing for this service. Buying my car from these folks was not only the most relaxed enjoyable car purchase in my 30 years of buying carsBut the service is also amazing. Thanks to the whole crew

Even though we own a F150 they agreed to look at our vehicle the same day to try to diagnose the problem! We were "stuck" in the Walmart parking lot. They identified the problem at no charge to us! We also talked to the sales people, and found the pricing on the Chevrolet truck to be fair. The sales people were great to work with. Definitely a great asset for Chiefland!

*Do not bring your vehicles to this place!!* I have a Chevy cruze that was overheating so I parked it for several years until I could afford to fix it and give it to my son for his first car. I had the vehicle brought to Big Bend Chevrolet to see what they could do to repair it. After some time they told me it needed a new engine, though I was skeptical, I agreed to pay for a new engine with all the warranties and peace of mind that I would now have a reliable vehicle for my son. Shortly after the new engine was complete Covid shut the world down extending the amount of time I needed to get the vehicle back. I did come up with the almost 7k in full to get my vehicle back after they started threatening to charge me a ridiculous amount of money per week for storage fees. They were nice enough to offer me a 7k loan at 24.99% interest to pay off the balance but I refused it and looked elsewhere for the funds. The day I picked up the vehicle I did not make it 1 hour up the road and the car started shaking violently. I called Big Bend and they said "Oh OK bring it on Back" After they looked over the vehicle they said the motor mounts were never tightened and waved it off as no big deal. The vehicle ran good for less than a year, until about a week ago when the car was losing power on acceleration, bucking, surging, and stalling anytime the car would come to a stop. This was especially dangerous when crossing or merging onto the highway. Luckily my son was able to get home safely and tell me what he was experiencing. I called big bend and they said it again "bring it on back and we will take a look" When i arrived with the vehicle i explained to them that the belt was squeaking periodically, making the drive belt a point of interest. After a couple days they called me back to let me know the valve cover was defective and caused all of these issues, including the belt squeak, and that this was covered under the warranty and they would fixed it free of charge. They had the vehicle ready for me within 24 hours so my son and I went and picked it up. ONCE AGAIN, less than 1 hour up the road the car experienced issues. Oil started spewing all over under the hood, smoke started bellowing out and the car came to a screeching halt scaring the daylights out of my 17 year old son. My son called me right away and said he could not be late so he walked the rest of the way to school. I called Big bend and explained what had happened and they sent a tow truck out to recover the vehicle that day. So they called me today and let me know what was going on..... Apparently the crankcase malfunctioned causing a massive oil leak and they offered to run that under the warranty also, I was then told that the belt will have to be replaced along with the tensioner which will cost me close to $250 dollars to fix. I asked what makes them think that I should have to pay for the damages that were created by the sub par work that they performed and they responded with "the new engine did not come with a tensioner, we removed it off of the old engine to put in the new one so it is not under warranty" Well the fact is by their own admission they checked the belt before releasing the vehicle and found no issues then, as a result of the oil spewing out the belt slipped off damaging the tensioner in the process yet they will not fix it After speaking with Lois Carpenter and getting nowhere i asked to speak with his supervisor Dishon. He also said its not their problem and that i will have to pay for the damages to be fixed. when i asked who his supervisor is and if i could speak to them Dishon tells me there is no-one above him. he continued to say that i should be thanking them for not getting rid of my car or suing me for having the car in the shop longer than anticipated for the engine swap.

I brought my car in because there was a loud noise when I went over a bump. The told me it was my strut, strut mount and sway bar link. They said it would cost over $1800.00 dollars. I didn't feel right so I took my car to Toyota and it turned out that I was missing 2 bolt for my caliper. Huge difference. I am very disappointed and the service lady didnt even care.

I live in Chiefland so I wanted to buy a new car locally. Went in to ask if they accepted the GM family first discount (employee discount). Was told by the salesman GM wasn't offering it anymore, which wasn't true and I told him so. I said maybe your dealership ship is not offering it, but GM still is. (This was for an ordered vehicle, so it wasn't going to take anything off the lot). He said correct, but no dealerships were accepting it. Went home and first dealership I called would accept discount. This is not about whether or not a discount is available, it's about being lied to. Not all dealerships are the same. Some actually employ people that tell the truth. This isn't one of them (unless you're getting service, they are very good).

I’m not really a Chevy guy but after dealing with Austin Garvley I can say that I’d probably buy anything from that guy he made it extremely easy for me to buy my 2021 Silverado commercial vehicle never had to leave the comfort of my living room not once he delivered it to me on a Sunday afternoon I didn’t have to take time away from my family didn’t have to drive anywhere and deal with all the traffic and not to mention I’m 150 miles from them if you’re looking for commercial vehicles or any kind of Chevy at any time that’s the man to talk to

Love this company! Had an issue with our 2006 Tahoe, and Service Manager Louis took care of us, since we are from out-of-town.....Kudos to him and the mechanic (Brandon) that got us fixed and on the road to finish our vacation! You should be proud of having employees that go the extra mile to help customers, it shows well with your company!

A good friend had recommended this dealership for service and sales. They really helped us out when our battery died while we were traveling through the state. The service was very quick and courteous and extremely professional. All of the staff that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Their facilities and service areas are impeccably neat and clean and totally deserving of five stars!! Or more!!
