They have long outages and have fried the computer boards in our furnace. They refused to cover the cost, let alone all of the food we have thrown out. On top of which their communication is absolutely horrible.

I want to thank the guys who came out to cut down the 100 year old century plant. That someone complained it was too close to the elec lines.... I left a note on the plant to ask to figure another way to deal with the plant growing up close to the elec line. As of many of us have waited to see it finally bloom, and it is close to blooming! These guys were so wonderful..they pulled it away from the line with a rope and tied it to a nearby tree..genius..now we will get to see the long awaited flowers, and from what I read up on it..after it blooms the plant dies and u can definitely tell the bottom of the plant is dying. A great big thank you to the wonderful guys who came out to do your job and figured out a way to make everyone happy. You guys are the best. This was in Silver Oaks in Fanning in May 2024. Best guys ever!!

Worst company I've ever had to deal with.
Felt the need to update my review, because it still remains 1 star almost 2 years later. Becky was extremely rude and unhelpful. She was quick to brush me off and transfer me to a number that didn't work.

Have been calling all day and keep getting sent to over flow office. Just have a simple question and noone can answer it. No one calls back after 7 hours? The call volume is not that high for 7 hours that you can't return a phone call.

This company has yet to inform anyone in my household about internet, this past November we were supposed to get a call but they never thought to ask for a second number because my grandfather got a phone upgrade, I’m sick of the delay, why should we wait another 6 1/2 weeks just for a call, I’m going to start calling every hour of every day starting Monday the 25th, they have no right to be gatekeeping what we desire, I think this company can use a little shake up of new non useless staff and actually get stuff moving, I find it hilarious that we gave the address and nobody came by to consult us about the phone number issue, highly unprofessional same with sending an Email like it’s 2023 and we have desk worms telling us about when we can and cannot get the services and let it be known, WE GOT THE MAIL saying in June that they were gonna start wiring and providing internet, me and my mother tried going inside to just get the modem and leave but apparently they “aren’t allowed to do that” but waving a flier around and not delivering what you’re sending out is completely uncalled for and this company should not even be open if they don’t even have a crew to set up a box in someone’s house

The absolute worst customer service. When you call to pay your bill or to speak to someone regarding details of your account, an “overflow customer service department” answers and cannot provide you with any assistance. You must call back to attempt to reach the “main department”. Seriously? We can’t wait for someone who’s available? Can’t get a call back? Truly remarkable.

Went to get another service , and was greeted by jenelle and caley who were amazing, and were so friendly , helped with everything I needed for the new service and helped me with the app on my phone thank you guys so much.

These guys did and amazing job restoring power to Cedar Key after Hurricane Idalia. 2 weeks later, we just had a power cut when they were closed, yet I could immediately get information on the cause and time the power would be back up. Great service and community support! thank you!

These people are a complete joke first off power fails almost monthly with absolutely no reason behind it the "professional" line men they employ are no better at their jobs than a toddler is at brain surgery the predicted finish times are useless any time they day they'll be finished add a extra 6 hours then you'll be close to the correct time I have driven out to a downed line on my property and watched them sit and joke for hours with one guy "working" reported it and got the generic well get back to you as soon as possible almost makes you want to move.

We woke up this morning to find our power out and meter not working. I called at 8am and spoke to someone on the phone. The lady on the phone took my information and said someone will be out to take a look. Two gentlemen showed up in under an hour and were very polite and professional. They had the issue resolved under an hour. This is the second time we've had an issue and both times were handled quickly.Thank you for your prompt and courteous service. Hurricane Adalia hit Gulf Hammock area today. My power was knocked out because of fallen trees during the storm. CFEC and their private contractors responded same day and resolved all issues. My neighbors and I are cool tonight! I greatly appreciate the professionalism of the workers and the can do attitude. I commend CFEC and all involved. Thanks!

My power bill unexplainably doubled when I was out of town for a month. I asked for a high power assessment and they never did or scheduled one. When I try and call there is Noone available to speak too and it's a robot loop, so don't waste your time. Also, lots of hidden fees up to $60 extra a month in your power bill for "facility charges" that dont make any sense. THIEVES AND LIARS LIKE MOST POWER COMPANIES.
