“I've had an account at the local regions bank in Celebration for about a year now when I moved here and have enjoyed it. The bank is small but nice, with seating and lots of space in the lobby, just like any regular bank. The bankers are pleasant and efficient. They required my proof of residence, and I didn't have my lease with me, but they allowed me to email it to them later. The online portal is nicely designed and easy to use. I pay my rent online each month without problems. They also offer CDs. They are FDIC insured. Basically, if you are moving here like I did and need a new bank, Regions is a good choice.”

I appreciate there are always plenty of tellers to attend to the customers and I am not standing out in the hot sun for 35 minutes to enter their bank ever due to few people in a bank to help us customers which I constantly encounter at a bank in Haines City by a totally different name!!! They even greet me by my first name! I have no relative or friend that works at their bank, but, their service has always been top notch for me!!!”

“New customer here and originally opened my new checking account online because there was no minimum first deposit like most banks. If you open it in person you do have to deposit I believe $50 as the minimum to open but I'm not completely 100% so you can either call the branch or check on their website. I'm used to dealing with big chain banks that don't really have that individual attention feel. There was no crowd, no appointment needed. A good thing about this bank is they can print your debit card to go with your account and you can walk out with it. That is the 1st bank I've ever been in that will do that for a new account. I had ordered one in the opening process of the account but it never came in. Liza was very friendly and helped me with everything that I went in there for. I had recently transferred money in and needed to withdrawal a large amount 1st transaction of the day for them and they had no problem. I wasn't told to wait or give them a certain amount of time. Liza took care of everything for me printed my card filled out my withdrawal slip and then introduced me to the 2 tellers that were on. Both were very nice. My main bank is BOA that I've been with for 20 years and I get great customer service when I go in their, but I don't feel that BOA is interested in building relationships with their customers (I've been into my local branch numerous times after moving far from my original bank)I can't tell you one person's name that works there in comparison SouthState feels warm, inviting and a bank, while it will be my secondary/back-up, I much more prefer than my primary. The one issue I have with it that isn't the branch's fault, is the mobile banking app's UI- is not user friendly. To find certain things you have to dig to find it. That isn't the branch's fault so I won't let that influence how I feel about the bank and the 5⭐ service that they gave me. I look forward to going in again instead of dreading. Hopefully 6 months to a year from now I feel the same way as this first impression.”

I like the fact that the building is new and the parking is well spaced.I am just a little upset that the teller said my check will be ready on Tuesday but in reality it says it’s on hold until Saturday.
