Front desk experience was very disappointing. Upon checkin, we were told upgrade was not available, however, my suite upgrade was approved one week before arriving. He tried his best to talk us out of an upgrade. After arguing back and forth, we were finally told upgrade WAS now magically available. Room 103 seemed very moldy. Our suspicions were confirmed upon waking up at 430AM to sore throat, coughing and wheezing. Sadly we had to check out earlier than we planned due to the room being harmful to our health. (1 Doctor visit and Methylprednisolone prescription later I feel better, thank you) We informed the front desk of our disappointment upon check out and informed them about the mold. Now the really sad part, THEY DIDN'T CARE! No "sorry', no "what can we do to make this right?" Nada. Then I get email asking "how as your stay?" Explained everything. I did receive a "sorry", but again, no "How do we make this right?" Very poor customer service and customer relations. You would think Marriott would have a higher standard for personnel at this location

Nice place to stay but the room was disappointing. In corner over looking the parking entrance. Not the place I would put a lifetime Platinum Marriott member. Overall, not a bad place and the valet parking is excellent. Thought I would try it as an alternative to a Disney hotel but based on this experience, will not stay again and just stay on Disney property.

my family and I love this hotel. We’ve been here twice in the past year and love the rooms, the breakfast is spectacular and a good price for the quality food, and the service has always been excellent. They also accept dogs! Also, I love the picturesque town where this hotel is located at.

Lovely hotel. Quaint and well kept. Within walking distance to Celebration restaurants and right by a nice lake where we sat and people- watched. I did not find it dated at all. Only complaint is that the valets stay hidden in a corner. We didn’t know where to park, and when we left and requested our car they never got it. I would definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel, it has a boutique feel to it. Very intimate common area spaces that are nicely decorated and feel very welcoming. the views to the lake from the restaurant make for a delightful dining experience if sitting outside. Whenever i visit Celebration, i make a point to enjoy a nice brunch there and unwind while taking in the lake views and green spaces surrounding it. Beautiful and so peaceful!Nearby activities: It is a great urban planning town to explore by bike or steolling thru its greenwaysSafety: Always feel very safe in this community and hotel areaWalkability: Exceptional walkability in this well planned city

This is NOT a signature hotel. It may have been at one time, but this place is dated and quite odd. Don’t get me wrong, it is nice, but needs a major update. The first thing is the confusion with parking. There is no signs or instructions on where to pull into for valet. If you stay here, you’ll understand. You pull into an area that kind of looks like a restaurant entrance. We had to call because there is no signage or information on where or what to do. We thought we missed the entrance. The second thing is it smelled odd, or old…. It was like staying at your grandma’s condo…. The look of the rooms and the smell. There was also no refrigerators in the room. This is extremely odd for Orlando hotels. There is always a drink cooler in the rooms. Another pet peeve for me is they claim to be a mobile key hotel and they are not. We were waiting for our key to come in and only found out they weren’t after waiting in line to check in that they no longer participates in Mobile key. The restaurant was OK, with a limited selection. Final con: these places need to stop trying to sell water and wine in the room. $45 for a $9 bottle of wine is not a good look for a medium high end Marriott property. The pro: the cooks can cook a fabulous poached egg. The staff is incredibly nice and are trying to give you the signature experience without the tools of an up to date hotel. It is clean, and cleaning crew did an excellent job of prepping the room. The location is surprisingly unique and if visiting Disney a nice change of pace. There is plenty to do within walking distance. It is a few small updates away from being a good hotel. One lat thing…. The indigenous statue on the back deck was a combination of weird and disturbing…. I’m sure there some context for it, but it was just kind of wired.

Hotel (specifically the lobby) is beautiful and the location is great. It's clear this used to be a Grand Bohemian and the lobby and restaurant reflect that. The staff is very friendly and I received an upgrade to a suite when I checked in. Some people complain about it only having valet parking, but there is a ton of free parking in the neighborhood around the hotel. However, the rooms are outdated and need a refresh. Like other reviews, my room smelled like mildew and the AC had a hard time cooling the room. It's been a Marriott Autograph for almost a year, and it's time to update the rooms: fix the AC, replace the carpet and drapes, update the decor, and implement Marriott's TV system with streaming. Overall, the location and neighborhood make up the room issues and I hope the hotel will plan an update. I'll probably stay here again even with the room issues.

Stayed several times over last 10 years Location is great Reception no probs very good Room dated but bed comfortable, air con good, bathroom good but door did not shut it was warped. There is a slight musty smell but this has been like this for 6 years maybe it’s the location namely on the lake We had significant discount for being over 60 would I have said full price was good value no One really annoying thing was at end of corridor on table, room service finished items left for some 12 hours General Manager get a grip this is not acceptable in any hotel. Would we go back at price we paid and location and generally Yes

The hotel is in a great spot for Disney goers, but like the town Centre of Celebration, it’s best days are behind it. The people that work there are great, the food was great, the drinks were great and reasonably priced. But…. The hotel is struggling with a massive damp and moisture issue, to the extent they have resorted to massive humidifiers in the main public areas. The floors in the hotel room feel sticky, but it’s actually just damp carpet. Our first room was so damp the sheets were wet, we moved to another room which was better but the dampness was still there. Such a shame, hopefully they can fix this in the Refurb.

Where do I start, because I could go on and on. Have you ever been to a hotel that has just given up, if not and you want to see what its like, come to the Celebration Hotel. My guess, they have to redo their entire AC system and the hotel doesn't have the money to do it. Should a 4 star hotel have Big Dehumidifiers running 24/7 in every hallway? Should the rooms and hallways feel sticky and smell like mold. The AC in my 1st room didnt work, the 2nd room rattled, the room was falling apart, even the coffee machine was broken... I called to get another coffee maker and they never came. I could go on and one, I couldnt get out of this hotel fast enough....

I always wanted to stay here and found this place unique. This is a boutique hotel, and it was lovely. Right in the Downtown Celebration and their service at the restaurant was great. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel in the Orlando area, this one is great, and just close enough if you want to go to the Parks.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel is! The location is perfect, the staff go out of their way to help, and it's extremely quiet! We live in Celebration and stayed here when our air conditioning went out. It was last minute and Seilly made sure to go above and beyond to welcome us in. She quickly found us a room and offered us some water. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of downtown Celebration. You can walk to several restaurants and stores, and just about anything you might need is a few steps away. The rooms were pristine, as were the common areas. The sheer curtains are a nice touch to allow the sun in but keep the heat out.We travel a lot and a quiet room where you can't hear others around you is the most important thing for me. Luckily, we didn't hear a peep the entire time. No noise from neighbors, no hallway sounds, no cleaning staff - nothing! Finally, the dining staff were incredible! From the bartenders, the servers, and the kitchen manager; everyone went above and beyond. The food was delicious and you can't go wrong with bottomless mimosas...Even though our stay was out of necessity, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we just want a night away in a comfy bed.

Lifetime Platinum member here, having stayed 600+ times at Marriott properties around the world. The Celebration Hotel looks great from the outside- clean, upscale and modern. This continues into the lobby and bar area where everything is great. Now to the rooms, and why I will never stay here again. My status was recognized by the front desk, who were great, and I was given an “upgrade” to a water view room. Walking into the room on the 3rd floor there was an overwhelming musty smell of mold. Read the other reviews, this is a common theme. When I say overwhelming, I mean my nose was running and my throat was scratchy after an hour in there. Eventually I had to get my family out, so I went down to request a room change. Obviously the front desk was used to this, and moved me without hesitation. Another “upgrade” to a studio, which was the exact same room, worse view, but we got a fridge this time… That room still smelled horribly like mold but we stuck it out. We all woke up with sore throats. Wandered around the third floor before checking out.. the ceilings in the hallways all showed water damage, ie cracks and water stains. There is 100% a black mold, water intrusion problem here that has now carried over to the AC system and affects the dated, ancient rooms here. This is up there with some of the worst Marriotts I have stayed in. I can’t imagine if I actually paid the full room rate here.
