Goran has been my trusted mechanic for years and I've recommended him to friends and family. He even gave me an evaluation on a used car I was considering for purchase that had been in an accident. He was right, I've had my Prius for over seven years and its been great.

Main Complaint: No written estimate before 100's of dollars of repairs.There is confusion about the name of the company. 'G & S Auto Repair' is not displayed prominently in large letters on the building. "Cadillac Specialists" is what is displayed.Friday Dec 2, I dropped off my '01 Lexus ES300 to G & S, because it was occasionally running hot, and needed water added to the radiator every 2 months. When I dropped the car off, I mentioned that Lexus parts are extremely expensive, and I would like the option of looking for any parts needed myself.(In November I had the cooling system flushed at Pep Boys, and it did not cure the problem.)I was expecting a written estimate of all the repairs regarding my engine cooling system, within a day or two of drop off on Dec 2, but I never got one, only estimates by phone that varied.There have been a lot of miscommunication because I never get to speak to a person when I call there, only leave a message. Your office does return calls, but not right away.Because I will be out of town for a week, beginning Dec 12 I requested pick up of the car so it was not sitting at Their shop for a week.I picked up the car 12.9.22, and paid $379.68, after they had the car for a week. The $379.68 is only a partial bill for wiring repair and relay replacement. By phone during the week I thought I was given a total estimate of $600-700 for all repairs. Today I was given a written estimate for the REMAINING REPAIRS of the engine cooling system, of $692.56!That means total for all repairs would be $1072.26, when I had never been given a written estimate of repairs till 12.9.22!I sent a copy of this review to the owner on Dec 9, and he only left a msg once, and never addressed my concerns.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Im a 54 yr old female with Cadillac cars.I feel very lucky to have found this shop. They have diagnosed and fixed every issue I brought to them. Not cheep but fair and honest estimates every time. I trust what they say and hope they're here for a long time.

Called owner in search of a spare tire and wheel called a donut for a 2001 cadillac a discontinued item. 24 hrs later they found a brand new one , ordered and installed 24 hrs later at a less than cadillac dealer price. Excellent attention to my needs. Ken Newman maitlannd fl.

It's very unfortunate that I have to post this review.Less than a year ago I had my alternator and battery replaced at G&S on my Jeep Patriot. It cost me around $900 for parts and labor. I told the owner that I wanted a factory alternator put on the vehicle. He told me that he only uses Factory OEM parts and my invoice was priced accordingly. On the invoice it says all parts are new unless otherwise listed.Last weekend my alternator went out. I decided to take it up on myself to fix it, which I did with no issues, except that the alternator that G&S put in my vehicle was not Factory OEM or even New. It was remanufactured(see photo). But I was charged the price for a factory alternator. $365 and some change. I paid $275 for the NEW one that I put in last weekend.Long story short, I had to replace my alternator and battery again because G&S put inferior parts on my vehicle and lied to me by saying they used factory parts. I also couldn't swap out my Champion battery because G&S bought the battery so they have the warranty for it. Unfortunately, it appears that G&S is just as bad as the other repair shops when it comes to honesty and quality work.Services: Battery

UPDATE: The owner called and explained the issues he is having with suppliers, shipping, and can't find good help which is all understandable. He is only 1 person and he does EVERYTHING in his shop due to unavailability of good employees. He seems to be a good honest man with life's issues, just like the rest of us. Now that I have had communication with him personally and been updated on all the issues with my car I am upgrading my review. (First time I ever revised a review). August 16th I had my car BMW Z4 towed in, needed 2 transmission sensors and a manifold actuator replacement it's now Sept 5th and I still don't have my car back. It didn't take 21 days to build this entire car. They do not update you on progress or no progress. Carlos told me they only had to test drive it, friday and they would be in the shop Monday just not open to the public but I could come pay them and get my car back. Well again, Monday came and went no call to let me know and I STILL don't have my car. I'm beyond aggravated.
