If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband came in to do some banking and needed the branch to answer a phone call from another Wells Fargo brand in a different state. The so-called bank manager came out of his office and when he ignored my husband and helped literally every one else, my husband asked if he was the bank manager and he said yes but he couldn't help my husband because he needed to help "all these other poor people" as if my husband wasn't sitting and waiting the whole time? And then goes on to tell my husband he can't help anyways because he's a new branch manager and he's currently in his office taking a training class. Needless to say, we left without any help and the other branch on the phone seemed pretty put off with how this location was acting as well.

We were trying to cash our monthly check and deposit. Unfortunately the “Manager” Kelvin on Saturday June 12th around noon, doesn’t work the process. He didn’t let us cash the check, we had a horrible experience waiting \\u0026 waiting FOREVER, customers we’re upset and frustrated in general. It is unacceptable to only have two cashiers on a busy Saturday. He was walking back and forward unable to fix anything, we never had this experience in this location before only when he was in charge, terrible terrible waste of my Saturday…..

Cannot stand Wells Fargo. They have outrageous fees for accounts they get you to sign up for. Too big of a bank. Too sketchy and sneaky with their sales tactics. Just beware when you open an account. The devil is in the details. I should've read the details, but the shameless sales tactics and knowingly ripping people off is terrible. When expressing my concerns with the rep on the phone, she literally did not acknowledge it. At. All. Just kept on with the process of closing my account after $12/month fees for a year. Zero acknowledgment of the frustration or anything. It was like talking to a human devoid of emotion. I guess that's how Wells Fargo gets their sales reps to sign people up for so many accounts. Suck the human decency out them so they can rip as many people off as possible.

I am not a big fan of Wells Fargo, however, I do have an account with them for convenience when I travel. I traveled from Virginia to Ft Myers to look at possibly purchasing a used vehicle from a private owner. Prior to my arrival, I made arrangement with Wells Fargo bank at this location to handle my transaction. I wanted to ensure sufficient funding was available so that I could make a cash purchase. The person I spoke with I believe was Ashley, who ensured me that the cash would be available. Upon my arrival to Florida, and after making a cash purchase deal, I invited the private owner to meet me at this WF location to make the transaction. Ashley was extremely accommodating and patient with me and assisted me with whatever I required to close this purchase deal. Ashley represents everything a customer service person should be, especially for a bank.

I know Wells Fargo has a bad reputation, and I'll be the first to admit I don't care for the WF name, but I have banked with them for 20+ years because they offer many convenient locations, and overall, their tellers are friendly. This week a teller named Tammy at the Pine Island branch was extremely helpful and efficient. She was very friendly and accommodated all of my banking requests, AND she was able to make conversation with me while completing the transaction. Tammy is an A+ teller at this branch!

Wells Fargo as a national bank has been HORRIBLE. They took over a lot of smaller banks and their systems don't mesh, are not consistent, and they definitely do not share info nationally. This was seen in comparison to Bank of America and two smaller multi-state banks. Due to a parent's death, I took over finances and had to deal with seven different banks - WF takes the cake in the ineptitude department. This particular branch took another two-plus hours with my aging (as we waited) mother by my side, to re-sign me onto five accounts as joint owner or POA. This had already been done at the Orange Grove Blvd Branch months prior in a three hour exercise in patience. Apparently there was either a system problem, or the other branch failed to input things correctly, and nothing was actually on file. The best part here was the safety deposit boxes (SDB). I'm sure it's a legacy of their multiple bank takeovers from years ago (it wasn't recent here), but they had SDB's with broken off keys in one slot, presumably so only the customer had a key, and boxes with REPEAT numbers. We were the second #107 or whatever that we found. The bank manager lady we worked with was very nice and sympathetic.
