Man, I don't want to disparage a place where I'm not the speciality but let me know you don't know what you're doing first. Absolute hackjob, pulls at hair with buzzers, doesn't understand a fade or line up, hair is patchy, hacked on the top and uneven. If you're going to talk the whole time at least look at what you're doing. I'm ashamed to be in public now without a hat.DO NOT GO TO KELLY if you're not 60+ and a woman.Service: Haircut

I always go to the for a quick yet stylish blow out and I just adore the conversations while feeling like your apart of the crew they offer you a beverage and snack and give the best scalp massages while washing your hair. Pop on in and give them a hollar they won’t let you down.

I was vacationing in Cape Coral and truly needed to have my hair cut and styled as my hair grows like crazy! I called and made an appt. Kelly did my hair and I absolutely love it!! In poor taste... I recommended this salon to my son as I had received a good cut there back in September He scheduled an appointment for a cut and a perm. The stylist buzzed a large chunk out of the back of his head. I realize these things can happen. However, nothing was said to him at the time of the cut. Upon going back to show the manager his hair, he was told that they offer no refunds. This is in very poor taste and extremely unprofessional. Needless to say, neither one of us will be returning.

Had a terrific experience at Shear Art Hair Studio. I have very thick hair that I like to have cut in long layers and thinned out. In the 7 years that I've lived in Fort Myers, I've been to several salons and have never had anyone cut my hair well the first time. Kelly nailed it, with hardly any direction from me at all. She also helped me make a decision about the best way to let a patch of gray hair grow in and she camouflaged it masterfully for an upcoming Christmas party. I'm considering Kelly my hair stylist from now on- I'm so thrilled that I have found my person!Services: Haircut

Amelia could not have been better! She made me feel so valued. I showed her the cut I wanted, she asked a couple questions and then…..she did exactly what I asked her to do!! She did an amazing job on my hair which is saying a lot as I usually never like my hair! I found my new spot! First time going to this cute salon. Destiny is adorable! she put lowlights in my hair and gave me a baby trim, she was so honest and i felt very comfortable with her ideas. Moving to Florida and trying to find a new hair salon for myself and my teen daughters was super stressful. So glad we found Shear Art Hair Studio. We have been seeing Destiny for about 5 months and couldn't be happier! Everyone here is so nice and friendly. Highly recommend this salon!

Megan Ginel does a fantastic job! Everytime I see Megan I am excited for my whole experience. Megan listens to whatever I dream up and executes to perfection! She blow dries my hair with gentle strokes and takes care to make sure I'm happy with the results. Extremely satisfied and happy customer. Today I went blonde from purple and my hair looks amazing and feels like silk. See my pics below!

SEE PHOTOS and read ENTIRE REVIEW before booking this salon!!!!!!! I went there to get an ombré, a style I've had done many times in my life. When I called to schedule I specifically requested someone familiar with that process who had experience. I was scheduled with one of the owners, Megan, who they told me would be more pricey given that she is a "level 4 stylist with years of experience". I wanted to be sure that my hair was colored correctly so I was happy to pay extra for the experience level they said she had. When I arrived I had a "consultation". I showed Megan the photos I have attached and told her that I wanted the dark top half with blonde at the bottom. She told me I couldn't get the contrast in the photos without darkening my roots. I told her that I would get good contrast with my ends really lightened and I do like a low maintenance style so taking the ends really blond would give it enough, and made it really clear I wanted a good blend from dark to light. I told her in *GREAT DETAIL* that I have gone for an ombré elsewhere in the past and basically had my hair dyed blonde with some roots and was explicitly clear that I did not want that to happen again. I really drove home I want the dark top half and blonde ends. She said okay we can do that and went to work. As you can see from the photos, she basically dyed all of my hair, but the roots. She took the blond all the way up which is exactly what I told her I did NOT want. She did ZERO blending so I have a hideous harsh line where the blond meets my natural color. It's hideous, unnatural, and looks like I tried to do it myself even though I probably could do better with zero experience. I wish I could say she cut my hair, but she chopped it. It looks like I handed my 2 year old a pair of craft scissors. The cut is also uneven as you can see form the photos, angling down longer on one side. I called the salon Monday (had my appointment Saturday) and left a message. I was called back Tuesday by the other owner's daughter. She was beyond delightful and tried to do everything she could to help me. I told her I would pay for the cut and a tip on it, but I wanted a refund for the "color". She spoke to Megan who called me and said she could fix it easy, and I just need to tell her "where I want the blond to be". I called back and explained that I didn't feel comfortable to let her touch my hair again. If she didn't understand and come even remotely close the first time, why would this time be different and now she would need to match my root color and bring the shade down. This would require massive blending, and clearly her blending skills aren't there. I was told that they would not give me a refund, and my only option was to come in and let Megan fix it or let their other "level 4 stylist" fix it. The receptionist working that day wasn't the one from before. She was extremely short and rude. She told me if I wasn't comfortable to come in "well, that's your choice", and they don't refund because "the stylist still spent that time". I told her I also spent my time, $200 of my hard earned single income money, and hired a sitter for the appointment. She told me "you have your options". I CANNOT stress enough to AVOID THIS SALON. They clearly don't care about the clients, just the money. They didn't care that they didn't provide the service I paid for, they didn't care that I am uncomfortable letting someone there touch my hair again (understandably), they don't care how hard I had to work for that money to go. I still can't believe how they treated me and after their owner messed up my hair, and now I have to pay someone else to fix it. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and NEVER BOOK WITH SHEAR ART.

Searching for someone to cut and color my curly hair...just moved to Cape Coral from out of state. I went through several salons that were so disappointing. Then I met Destiny at Shear Art. She has talent, she's caring and had great ideas to help me manage my curly hair in my new humid environment. She's amazing. The salon is clean and cutely decorated. The best part...everyone, both customers and the team, are welcoming and happy to be there. Call Shear Art and get Destiny to help you out...she's got the hairdresser gift!
