If you really love your pets, don’t take them here! Dr. Alexander, who is the owner of this place, is very incompetent. Last week, I took my dog with a critical bloated stomach, after taking 2 Xrays, she couldn’t tell the difference between being pregnant or something else. She charged an unnecessary and outrageous $307 pregnancy test. The next day, we went to a different vet and my dachshund ended with a surgical emergency due to Pyometra (a serious and potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus). Two days after the fact, they called me for a negative pregnancy result. I’m not a vet but I can assure with a 100% certainty that those 2 Xrays showed no sign of pregnancy at all.

Disappointed is an understatement, if you want your dogs to be happy and healthy do not bring them here. The woman in charge is also very rude especially when trying to talk about the situation that occurred

So they set you up for an appointment at 8:30am, but the doctor doesn’t show up, and the rude staff leaves you sitting there for 40 minutes without telling you anything! I wouldn’t recommend, place is trash.

My husband and I were getting married and we have taken all of our animals to this vet that we thought we knew and trusted. With that being said, we had two of our dogs stay with them over the weekend while we got married. The week I was going to be dropping them off, I called and spoke with someone who explained not to bring their beds (which I assumed since they would probably pee on it/destroy it), but if we would like to please provide blankets or towels and some toys that we wouldn't mind getting chewed up or lost. No problem at all on our end. This was the first time we were ever leaving our pets for any amount of time and we wanted them well taken care of and thought we trusted this vet facility. Upon dropping off our two dogs, they took their food, blankets, and toys and said they were in great hands, which I truly believed. Before leaving the facility, I requested an exam and a nail trim. Upon arrival to pick our two pups up, our dogs were thrilled to see us and seemed fine, so we happily paid our bill that was almost $200 over what our estimate was. Although the exam was performed, the nail trim was not, yet we were charged for it. Then, upon unpacking their blankets and toys and such, i realized EVERYTHING was untouched. The bones had no bite marks. The fluffy toys had no slobber. Even the blankets still smelled like our washing detergent... which is funny because I asked the tech who brought their items out to me that everything seemed so clean and she stated "I would see them start to tear stuff apart and would take the toys away"... I decided to call the practice which is when I was hung up on 2 times by the practice manager, Ashley. She continued to speak over me when I was explaining the situation and tried calling me "money hungry" since I wanted to be somewhat compensated for the lack of the nail trim and promises that were made for their stay. She condescendingly laughed at me and that would be about the time she would hang up on me.. again. When she finally answered the phone when I called back, she claimed that my dogs were sent home happy and healthy. I would like to say otherwise since it's been a week since we picked the dogs up and BOTH have liquid feces. Ashley also informed me the issues I was having with their practice was also because they have 18 year old techs that are working at their practice, which is why it is called such... "a practice - because they are practicing." No. You are an animal hospital that people shouldn't even second guess to take their pets there. This isn't a vet school for them to practice on our fur babies. Not to mention I was promised I would be given a call back from the practice owner, who is the vet, who has yet to call us. Been waiting for a week now and no communication. We are SO disappointed by the lack of care and unprofessionalism Ashley had shown and will unfortunately have to search elsewhere for a vet that will be honest and professional with their fur patients and their owners.

They were very caring with our 13 year old rescue dog at the end of her life. I appreciate their efforts.

My dad took his cat here after she started acting odd. The vet took an X-ray and noticed she has two stones in her bladder and gave her medication. They did not offer to do any bloodwork or anything else. The cat wasn't getting better, so my dad took her back in and was told there was "miscommunication" and they missed a deadline for an injection that could have saved her life. Our family is so angry that there was no bloodwork done, there was some dumb "miscommunication," and now we will most likely lose the cat. We will never come here again and will tell others of our experience so hopefully they don't experience the same heartbreak as us.

My dog a week ago was walking and would fall over so of course I made an appointment. I just moved here 3 weeks ago from Ohio so I had to start somewhere. This is NOT the place to start. Took blood work that was over priced. Haven't still, gotten a call back even though the blood work itself is over $200. Don't know what's going on with him. The receptionist seems rude. The Dr has no personable skills. I feel like I got ripped off especially being a newbie in the area. I had an appointment but didn't get seen until about an hour past my scheduled time. All I was told is, OH it could be seizures.I'm back to square one almost $400 out. Please, find somewhere else to go.

I had an emergency with my cat, and out of 8 places I called on a Saturday, they were the only ones that could squeeze me in. Also, a few days after my visit, they called to follow up on my cat. Great service!

This is by far the best place to take your pet. I love this place for their experience and knowledge of how to give your pet a long and healthy life. Dr. Alexander is the best vet I've ever met. Thank you ❤❤Kim Maloney
