We had a reservation thru priceline for a certain sum for 7 ppl. We get there there is no one in that office we had search thru the whole building to get someone to help us. Then she says oh we don't have a car available for you they only had 3 suv and suppose they were all reserved. She was rude and didn't even try to assist of finding another car at a different location.until we asked her too. I will recommend not to go that location not professional and no customer service. Ended up going to enterprise and get a car that we needed and customer service was amazing.

So I'm dealing with a collision and I'm trying to figure out what the cost out of pocket will be and what my insurance covers. I spoke to my insurance first and they tell me to call Hertz for pricing on vehicals; so when I call them the girl who answers the phone was incredibly rude like I was bothering her trying to ask questions to understand. She tells me I need to handle everything through my insurance and when I tried to explain that I was and I was just trying to understand the pricing for renting the vehicle she still couldnt give me a price and was getting louder repeating what she said like I didn't hear her the first time. Who ever is handling phones calls needs better customer service training at this location. Thank you making an already stressful situation worse.

Incompetency From “Manager” down to the hourly employee working the phone… This location truly gives Hertz a bad name and someone from their corporate offices should audit their territory a little tighter to avoid allowing these employees to misrepresent the Hertz brand. When you call in the robot operator advises you that “the call may be recorded for quality or training purpose(s)” and he/she is apparently unaware of that, but this is the same employee who throws outlandish accusations at customers with no basis whilst claiming to be a “manager” - Expect to be mishandled in the worst way and have all of your time wasted.

I got a call from Hertz Car Rental on 902 Delprado Blvd. in Cape Coral. I had a reservation made from State Farm which stated a pick up truck would be ready for me this morning. The representative that call me was very abrupt And unprofessional. Whoever she was taking orders from, didn’t seem to care about the customer and mentioned to her that they had a vehicle available, but they will not reserve it to me Even though I had A reservation. After I mentioned that I wanted to speak with a manager or a higher up, they simply hung up the phone. I am Cape Coral business owner for 30 years and I’ve never Had this type of experience from a national company! This is my first review I’ve ever had to make with this level of dissatisfaction and disbelief, that the company like Hertz hires Unqualified representatives to take care of their customers.

Worst experience ever! I booked a rental car on Oct 30th for pick up Nov 17th. I received reminders and confirmation as well as I personally called and confirmed my reservation daily for the week leading up to pick up day. I arrived at my scheduled time 9am. I went to the girl at the front desk and advised I was here to pick up my rental car. She advised me that they did not have any cars available. She stated they would have some around 11am. WHAT?? Maybe she did not hear me so I again stated I had a car reserved for pick up at 9am. The girl then stated that she had called me at 7:30am(that morning) to advise they would not have a car, no one had called me. I had no messages or missed calls and I showed up at my scheduled time to pick up car. For obvious reasons…I was beginning to get upset and raise my voice. At this point a man came from the back office. He advised me the same thing that the girl(who refused to give me her FIRST name) told me. He said there were not enough cars and that he could not do anything about it. I stated I would then sit in the lobby and wait until 11 for my rental. He said I could not do that as there was no guarantee there would be a car at 11. He stated he would cancel my reservation and that he didn’t even need to rent me a car. WHAT??!! Now I’m very upset and for obvious reasons. I asked this man if he could check another location and he flat out refused. At this point all the employees stopped what they were doing and all stood in the back office watching this interaction and LAUGHING!! I asked the man his name and he pointed to a business card and told me that was his, Paul Lanlier, branch manager. I then asked for the girl at the front desk name and was told that was not necessary. After several more minutes of back and forth the man then told me he was canceling my reservation and I needed to leave their establishment.These people did absolutely nothing! They were rude and combative from the first interaction. I’ve never experienced such poor and unprofessional behavior! Not a single person apologized or tried to rectify the situation. All they did was yell and tell me I was acting like a child who was not getting their way. This location needs a serious investigation and the employees all need a course on proper Customer Service! Avoid it like the plague! Go to Enterprise car rental they are just down the street.

Beware! Do not rent from this location!! We showed up to rent a truck, the woman at the front desk was very rude, she gave us the keys to the truck. The keys did not work to the truck, instead of helping us out, she gave us attitude saying they were the right keys and there shouldn’t be a button problem. Finally after trying the keys multiple times, she came out to help us, realizing that the keys were not working. We ended up leaving there without a rental truck. We called to check on the refund and she yelled at us saying she could not issue us a refund and that she did not care. We have since filed a report against their business. Hopefully they can learn from this and treat their customers with better care.

Asked about tolls it would have been nice if the guy working would have told me it was 25 bucks for a 2 dollar toll and not 5 bucks. Ridiculous hertz get sunpass for your cars and stop being stupid.

This place is absolutely horrible I made a reservation paid for it in fullWhen I arrived early they did not have a car and refused to help me told me to simply call hertz and it was impossible to reach them

BEWARE...I rented twice in one week from this Hertz location. DelPrado, Cape Coral, FL. Both times they didn't inform me of the toll convenience charge of using Sun Pass lanes. On the road, after going thru the Sun Pass toll I figured I'd call and ask what the charge is. I was quoted over the phone of $5.99/day. This is completely false. PlatePass charged me $19.99/day. I was able to get credits from PlatePass but not for the full amounts. Uninformed customer service.

One of the very few location I’ve been to where customer service is at very low level. Total scam. I booked an EV Polestar online, but an employee was trying to give me a civic. Also they don’t tell you that when returning an electric vehicle it has to be fully recharged. All employees, including the manager are useless in solving any issues or answering any questions. Not giving this location any more business

Do NOT rent a car from here! Not only was I told I did not need a confirmation number, but I called twice to confirm a car was held for me and now am being told no cars are available. The "manager" TANYA was rude and inconsiderate to myself and my husband. I will make sure corporate knows about this and Ms Tanya needs an attitude adjustment or she will continue to get complaints from customers. The reviews saysay it all!
