I shop at the dollar general often. I have a service animal and he goes many places with me. Four times that I have been in this store 4423 Chiquita Blvd; I have been harassed by one employee. She has came up to me and told me that a service animal does not sniff. He is going to pee in her store. I have had enough of this nonsense. This animal does not pee in your store; Nor should I be harassed as a customer. I work in customer service and I would not ever treat a customer as rudely or disrespectful as this employee has been. One time, okay; maybe she’s having a bad day. But, she has singled me out each and every time that I have been in this store. Today, I have had enough of her nonsense. I am now calling you out and you need to be trained on how to treat and handle your customers. She is very short; over 50years of age and very long hair. I will continue to bring my service animal in the store and if she speaks to me one more time; I know my rights and I will exercise my rights by the fullest extent of the law. Please train your employees in how to handle situations; please give them more training on how to speak properly to customers; if they can not abide by the law then they need to be fired. I have never felt so intimidated by a customer service personal in my life. I have never written a google review either. I am disappointed in dollar general’s choice of this particular employee.
All she is allowed to ask me if he was a service animal by law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a wonderful day and train your employees on the statue. Disappointed and 😩 in Cape Coral!!!!!! 4 times!!!!!! On Camera!!!!

Its Awsome to grab a quick item! I love that they are the only store that has my icecream I like. We live close by and its nice when we go on are walks to grab a water or bubble gum for the kids!

My family comes here often for convenience and neat little holiday projects for our 6 year old. We never ask for assistance be uase of the short handed staff. Its cleaner and more neat than most dollar generals. However, the short, long blonde haired lady, with glasses, she may be a manager, is one of the most disrespectful people we've had to the pleasure of dealing with. She literally goes out of her way to be rude to us, gripe under her breathe and say unnecessary things. For no reason, no provocation. All the other staff is friendly, but because of her, this place gets a single star.

Lady immediately saw me going to self checkout & assumed i was going to steal which is bizarre to me i go to this store all the time, she brought me rudely to the checkout with her & continued giving attitude for absolutely no reason...i own my buisness no need to steal definitely never going back

I thought I left to refill boxes of swifter wipes and realized many days later that I didn't have them .. found my receipt and Carol was able to pull the security video and we saw I did leave the store with them ... I am super grateful she did this because I swore I had left them here and would have blamed the store for it ... She was able to check this for me in less than 5 minutes ... Super professional lady she is . Thank you !!!!!
