It’s a circus and not at all customer friendly. Will change.

The pharmacy on 1003 Santa Barbara, Cape Coral is a very nice and organized pharmacy. They have lots of prescriptions to fill and they do them in a timely manner. And if you have any concern theywill help you with no problem. They show they care!!!!

This is the second time I have had a horrible experience. Last year, I came to pick up my prescription for my daughter (an antibiotic for her strep throat) who had strep throat and the flu. I went through the drive thru and waited for quite some time in line. Unfortunately, this was my only option as my contagious 6 year old daughter was with me, in addition to my other two children, one of which is an infant. When I finally made it to the window, Joel told me a very high price that, despite having a GoodRx coupon. He told me he would have to re bill and that I would have to get back in the line that I already waited over 20 minutes in. By this time, I’m visibly upset because my infant is now crying and my daughter is miserably sick. Joel showed no compassion. I had to leave my 3 children in the car by themselves to walk in, because that was his only other suggestion. Once inside, I proceeded to wait even longer.Fast forward to today - I call the cvs to see if my prescription for myself is ready. After making it through the automated system, I’m greeted by someone who seems to be very impatient and annoyed to answer the phone. I ask about my prescription and she proceeds to tell me that they have not received any prescriptions for me. I then informed her that the provider’s office called around 1:15 and she told me, “nope. Check with them.” I call my provider who insured me that she called and left a voicemail on the prescription line at 1:15. My provider then proceeded to call them AGAIN and somehow they found the prescription. Unbeknownst to me, I had called back and was on hold after speaking to an actually pleasant person who said there were no voicemails but she would look around. After several minutes, she gets back on the phone and tells me they have it and to give them an hour. I told her that I no longer have insurance and have a GoodRx coupon. I asked if she needed the code because my last experience was very unpleasant with Joel and the GoodRx coupon code. She said, “no, she would put a discount card on it and that if it was more when I got there they would switch it out, no problem.” I asked if she was sure because of my last experience and she assured me that it would be fine. I received an automated call around 3:30 saying that my prescription was ready. I arrived at the drive thru window with my two children in the car. I was told by Joel, that the total was $23.02. Almost $10 more than my GoodRx coupon. When I told Joel the conversation that I had just had with the previous person, he said I would need to get back in line for it to be billed again and that he didn’t know why I would have been told that because everyone knows the process. Another non compassionate and irritating experience with Joel and the CVS staff. I was forced to pay almost $10 more for my prescription (necessary blood pressure medication) because of poor communication throughout the pharmacy and their staff. I was unable to get back in line and wait for who knows how long because I needed to get my other child from school. As a medical professional, I don’t understand why this continues to happen. I would never treat any of my patients as disgraceful as I have been treated the last two times I have frequented this facility. I would be embarrassed by how the staff in a health store/pharmacy has no regard for patient safety and/or well being. Hopefully, the continued negligence in this store/pharmacy does not directly impact someone’s life the way that it has the potential to.

The WORST pharmacy I have ever used. I had issues with a pharmacy tech last year at this location and vowed to never use CVS again. Switched to TRx pharmacy and was so happy I did. Unfortunately my insurance has dictated I must get one of my prescriptions refilled by CVS only so I called to get it transferred (per CVS Caremarks instructions). After finally getting through to a pharmacy tech I was told it was going to take 3 weeks to get it transferred because they are so behind. Just say you don't want to do your job and don't care about your patients. I called the CVS inside Target on Pine Island and the girl I spoke with was able to get it transferred and filled in less than 12 hours and was very helpful and polite. Do yourself a favor and switch your prescriptions to TRx pharmacy and if your insurance won't allow it, try the CVS inside Target instead.

Called to see if they had my medicine in stock. Was told yes. Dropped off script and told come back after 2pm. Went back tad they had no info. They couldn’t even find my info in their system. To make matters worse, they lost or threw out the script. It was completely mishandled. I will never return there

If you want customer service, your prescription filled in a timely manner or a pharmacist that wont flat out tell yoy theyre too busy to speak to you, GO ELSEWHERE. Anywhere really. Most places fire for things that cvs promotes for.

The pharmacist are the rudest nastiest people I've met. People talk about rude people from NY ? They take the cake . They have no consideration for people who need their medication and should be retrained on how to speak to customers. I understand there's some things out of their control like waiting on inventory but to be spoke to like you're a piece of shit is unacceptable. Including to to someone from a doctor's office the same way. Not worth any stars but it won't allow any review without putting one.

"Less busy than usual" said Maps...Well, I'd hate to see the wait time when they consider them "busy." Longest I've ever had to wait both for inside or drive thru. They need more help

So I want to start out by saying that I typically use CVS pharmacies, But after today I will be switching all of my medication to Walgreens or Walmart, or even a small RX company. and the reason why I'm telling everybody this is I have been seeing a pain management doctor for over 13 years CVS pharmacy is saying we can't feel your prescription it's over the amount you usually get , there's delay issues the company that makes the pain medication isn't going to be making any more pain medication until January 2023 after I've been waiting two days for them to fill it and they have never called to tell me they HAD AN ISSUE, and each time I've called they have never told me that was what was happening because people that see a pain management doctor you understand when you have to call your pain management doctor it takes them two to three days to get back to you here it is Wednesday I doubt I'll hear anything back from my pain management doctor until Monday. So I am warning everybody Don't go to CVS avoid CVS they price gouge their medication because it is a big pharma. I just want people to understand that CVS pharmacy is the worst pharmacy you could choose so hed the warning when you see one star you will understand. Don't give them your MONEY, Don't go to CVS pharmacy and I'm talking about all of them. I go to the one at Cape Coral and 1003 Santa Barbara Road... horrible service I have to sit on hold for 20 minutes just to talk to somebody and then when they get on the phone they're trying to get off within 30 seconds. So again rethink your pharmaceutical places there are other ones out there Walgreens and independently owned pharmacies also there's Publix and Walmart. Keep in mind the Florida has the most seniors that live here and they have to put up with the crap that they hear. They do not understand how to stand up for their rights and get the right kind of help that they need, I am not yet a senior YET,but I feel sorry for the ones that have to go through this and have to listen to the crap that CVS spills from their mouth and if this gets me banned from CVS whoopty freaking do!!! I will be happy to go to another pharmacy like I said there are several places out there. If they would have told me 2 days ago that this company was not going to be making the medication that I take . I would have made sure I went to talk to my pain management doctor and got another script and taken it somewhere where they treat you nice. I will be moving all of my medication tomorrow to a new pharmaceutical place I've chosen Even if I have to walk into a Walmart store and fight the traffic on del Prada I'm willing to do that , I'm sure they'll treat me a little bit better yours sincerely Joyce T....

CVS pharmacy located at Nicholas Parkway and Santa Barbara Blvd. I always use their drive-through the pharmacist and the other technicians are extremely accommodating professional and nice. When driving through you need to have your prescription ready....They will not let you leave until they double check that they have your prescription.. they usually tell you your prescription will be ready by the end of the day provided is in-house. Call back or they will text you when it's ready.Noted any narcotics or sleeping medicine you are required by federal and state law to produce a valid ID such as a passport or drivers license. You must have one of these two items to actually pick up your medicine. You were only able to pick this type of medicine up every 30 days with a proper prescription and most of the time if you have insurance it's gonna cost you anywhere from $3.95 up to $9.95 for a name prescription. If you don't have insurance but still have a prescription you could end up paying anywhere from $100-$300 for 30 odd pills... which is typically only one month of a supply. I said earlier the pharmacist and the technicians are super friendly but they are very professional and will not violate any of the federal or state law. So don't expect them to do something that will get them fired because these are smart individual and will not jeopardize their positions. It is best to go early....because they have federal and state laws they have to adhere to Plus remember there are other customers actually inside the pharmacist at the walk-in counter that they're waiting on too! ...so just be patient YOUR smile goes a long way. And when they're working a holiday a Starbucks gift card or candy on Easter makes their day a lot brighter.....( let it be noted to have them put in your file whether or not you want the easy on easy off lid ....Or you wish to have childproof lid on your medicine. This is in case you actually have teenagers or children having access to your medicine cabinet)...

They are very slow there and incompetent to deal with and then they like to yell at you like you're the one doing something wrong I think somebody forgot who the customers could not and would not recommend them I've made seven trips for six prescriptions there each time I walk away with one instead of all of them this last trip I got my injectable drugs buy no needles or syringes and they gave me a hassle about getting them They finally gave them to me I was missing the syringes so I'm now off to see CVS again for the seventh trip this is just ridiculous and I've had other experiences are like this so I have to find another pharmacy that has a better staff They are just plain rude there and incompetentGo anyplace else you just can't do any worse.

Rude, rude, rude.... Incompetent. Rude! And yelp wants me to keep typing or the review is too short to post. Rude, incompetent. If you have a choice go elsewhere. If you don't, complain to the manager!
