When we moved here 9 years ago, we could not find a groomer for our two dogs (a Norwich Terrier and a Lhasapoo) who met our standards, ie., a thorough knowledge about breeds and their grooming needs, a clean and professional environment, someone who'd listen to our concerns about our dogs' skin here in Florida (not concerns that we'd need to take to our vet), our dogs nutritional needs ... and someone who was really established. Here in SWFL, groomers come and go with great frequency. Also, we hoped to find someone who was friendly with US (just someone who'd remember our name)! Iris at Canine Clips checked all of these boxes and then some. I believe she's the most established groomer in Cape Coral. She knows the many differences between canine breeds, how to groom them and how to treat dogs with loving respect. We met Iris a couple of years ago, and wouldn't think to take our dogs anywhere else. Iris herself is delightful to chat with. She'll make special treats fresh and often send us home with a couple of goody bags filled with them. She'll say, "Don't forget: Moe likes THESE and Bruce doesn't! So make sure you don't mix up the bags!" We love Iris and our dogs understand what I'm saying when I say "We're going to see IRIS!" They'll get their own leashes, excited to go. We had some unusual and unnerving experiences with groomers here while we looked for someone to work with our dogs and us permanently. We're delighted to have found Iris, and it seems, so are Bruce and Moe!
