We have had an AnchorLift windlass on our boat for 18 years. Over that time, we have had many different roles. With our most recent rode replacement we had a lot of trouble with the line slipping through the windlass, and just not pulling as it should. After wrapping up all of the troubleshooting and talking with the Anchor Lift team, we decided to install an Anchor Lift rode. WOW!!! What a difference that change made. Now pulling the anchor can literally be done with the touch of a button. No helping the windlass, or checking the line. It just works! So much better than any other rode we have ever used in this or any windlass. 100% highly recommend pairing your AnchorLift Windlass with an AnchorLift Rode, you will not be disappointed.

What was delivered and what was quoted on the estimate were not the same. ALD would not refund the cost of the deficiency, they would only refund the full purchase upon receipt of the custom items return. Really, they can’t calculate the cost if four feet of chain, a stainless steel thimble, and the splicing of the thimble. In the end, I was shorted 4 feet of chain, a stainless thimble, and the splicing of the thimble. The shipping of the 93 pound order makes returning the item unfeasible. Whatever you order from these clowns make sure you have factored in a return and rework as their attention to detail is lacking.

We have had 88 pound and 66 pound stainless anchors with stainless swivels for over ten years. Replacement bolts for the old manufacturing style was no longer available for the swivels. The new swivels are a little less on max load but look even better. Competitively priced and amazing customer service every time.

The team over at AnchorLift are very professional. I am very impressed with their products- they are incredibly well-made. Some of the best manufacturers use their products on all their boats- that speaks volumes. They really care about their customers and their vendors- and that's rare these days. I highly recommend them!

One of the most dishonest company in marine industry, be aware once they cash your check there is no warranty. Don't get ripped off like we did twice. Of course they will remove this posting soon.

One of the most dishonest company in marine industry, once they cash your check good luck on anything including warranty. It's just wrong and unless your are willing to sue them, good luck.

These guys have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Called today to order a part and the customer service rep was so rude (he actually hung up on me) that I decided to swap my windless with a Lewmar product. BTW, Lewmar was so helpful they are working with me to source the parts I need rather than swapping my whole rigging..
