We had a great experience with Act of Class Moving! Philip was easy to book and communicate with. Roderick and Jaquez helped us with the move and they were amazing. They were prompt and careful with all of our belongings. Much appreciated. Will use again in the future.

I have lost my patience with this business. I was doing a cross-country move and the movers DROPPED MY NIGHTSTAND DOWN THE STAIRS AND A LEG BROKE OFF. Apparently, both nightstands were stacked, one on top of the other, and were not secured when they were loaded onto a dolly to be rolled down the stairs of a second story condo building. Because it was wrapped in a blanket, I couldn't fully inspect the damage. The owner, Phillip, claimed he would reimburse me for the repair. When we reached our destination, not only was a leg broken off, the nightstand was damaged on all sides (that a little furniture marker can't hide) and the drawer was no longer functional. I sent pictures to Phillip and requested to be reimbursed to replace the nightstands (it was part of a set), or for him to give me the business's insurance info so I can make a claim. The man ignored me initially and now is giving me the run around on sending me a check (I'm not even asking for that much money. We paid him way more for the job). He gave me a sympathetic story (that I won't repeat on a public forum) and now that I see on Facebook that he's alive and well, I have no sympathy. THIS IS A POORLY RUN BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT HONOR ITS OBLIGATIONS. I am extremely infuriated by the dishonesty and lack of care that was taken with my move. I should also note that they didn't properly secure everything in the moving van. We heard things rattling around after we started driving and saw that the bungee cord was partly tied. We had to secure the bungee cord ourselves. This business is classless. Anyone who hires these movers does so at their own peril.

2 years ago was wonderful with this company. This time it was a nightmare. Young kids in a rush. Damage to furniture and my sleep number bed ($1500 to repair), Truck was too small so I had to decide what was left for another moving day. Furniture was thrown on top of other furniture in the truck and not wrapped. When my husband asked that they wrap something, he was told their blankets were dirtier then the inside of the truck, then I ended up with grease on upholstery. If you open your door the morning of your move and have guys in their 20’s and talk a good story, shut the door fast. The crew kept saying they promised the boss they would be finished by 330 that day. No way!!! Hence, china hutch damaged, dining room table damaged, mattress ruined(ripped), frame leg missing off bed, and door at old house damaged. Would never recommend this company!
