Thank you so much Charles for keeping Beach Pawn f.k.a East Coast Music alive all these years- "Where a Fast Nickel, Beats a Slow Dime!". I was saddened to see the old storefront shuttered and happy to see you have just relocated. East Coast Music Beach Pawn was an institution for local musicians back in the day and many now famous artists walked through thier doors. I have a million stories and memories of this place that are precious to me and my friends. Bantering with Jerry, Lee, Jason, Josh, and Steve was always fun and even as little kids, they treated us with respect. A favorite pastime of ours was "testing" all the guitars and amps. Later in life, I would regularly buy vinyl from Charles. Charles was always extremely nice and friendly- knowing me by name and following up on the happenings of my life. If you have something to pawn or sell, he is always fair- remember that he has a business to run and can't pay the prices you see online. I have always gotten better deals on loans/selling compared to all the other local Pawn Shops. If Charles knows you well, he will be very patient and understanding. I haven't visited Beach Pawn in over 6 years, but I still highly recommend visiting. Hopefully Beach Pawn will be around for years to come.

Went in to buy a chain and when I asked them to weigh it so I could verify the weight they changed the price because they marked it wrong by the weight and wouldn’t honor the original price and raised it $400. They are scammers not business men or loyal.
Rather than honoring the marked price they punish me for being knowledgeable!!! Don’t come here!

Extremely profession, reliable, and fair. I dealt with the Owner Charles and he was really helpful in explaining all of the details of my transaction. Clear communicator, and stuck to his word. Overall a very good experience thank you Charles!

I have been to Beach Pawn quite a few times! Charles and staff and new dog are awesome! Fair deals..friendly staff...all know a lot about music and the local scene. Folks...I recommend this place as 5 stars out of 5! Charles is a true gentleman and has saved my arse during a time of unemployment from the aerospace industry.

Charles and his staff are excellent and courteous and very professional. Any negative reviews on YELP would lead me to question the integrity of the negative post. I have been an unemployed aerospace worker for the last 3 months and let a lot of my unneeded gear go to pay my bills and buy food. Charles is a very fair man and a gentleman! I love this place! They are cool as f and know a lot about music and the local scene! Seriously...if you meet Charles and walk away mad or unhappy...that's on you!

Great shop, lots of hidden gems. They have an amazing music equipment selection and I always leave with a great piece of jewelry. Every time I am in town I make a point to stop by and see the crew.

I really wanted to get a nice skim board that would support my weight and height and the owner of this shop was very responsive and helpful in finding me the right one before I made the drive out to purchase it. They also told me about a local surf shop that could supply me with the grip tape I needed for the board. They were extremely friendly and supportive of other local businesses. I would recommend coming here if you are on vacation to check out the other boards and items in the shop. Also I was confused about certain parts of getting a skimboard and the guy there was knowledgeable and helpful with the questions I asked.

I bought a Peavey tube amp today at their store. Folks.. the cool thing was that everybody that worked there were friendly and made me feel among friends! The price we agreed upon for the amp was VERY fair!! I spoke with Charles and their staff for almost 30 minutes about all kinds of things!Their shop has a lot a space launch related items as well as vintage political items. You can get lost looking atthe cool things in their shop. I will be back!! Thanks Charles!!!

I had an interest in an item I found at the pawn shop while snowbirding, but didn't purchase it. When I got home to Michigan, I found out that I really wanted it. I called the pawn shop to see if it was possible to ship it to me.Well after a short conversation with the pawn shop guys, they went to work above and beyond helping g me out. I was able to purchase it and they shipped it to Michigan.Thanks guys. A AAA rating from me.

The owner of this store is a lunatic. He once followed me all the way to the Cocoa Beach Dunk n' Donuts because I used his parking lot to turn around. Sincerely the most terrifying thing I ever experienced as a 23 year old woman. I didn't damage anything, I simply cut a corner. I would hate to do business here. I could see him becoming violent easily if he stalked a young woman due to some weird road rage. lots of small dick energy.
