It was OK, haven't been to a fair in years. Best part was the animals, especially the horses!!! The stripes on the horse are shadows, lol

You better bring you a line of credit when you come here. High priced foods that are horrible quality compared to what it used to be.The ride selection is ok but again, nothing like it used to be.Majic Bob guy is great and the little piggy races were cute. The kids liked the majic show.Good police support which is great and helps everything run smoothly. We come and support because it's local but we go to the Clay County fair when we can.

Today is the first time I visited this fair. It was great. My family and I had a wonderful time. The admission prices are affordable. We enjoyed the pig race, rides and most impressed with the children musical stage and Survival presentation. It was great and my daughter wasn't ready to leave after being there for three hours. Northeast Florida, Fair, thanks for such a wonderful experience.

Fair is always a fun time. Plenty of selections for games and food. Grounds are improving every year. Many turned out to see the livestock (those hugh barns are excellent for ventilation!) and to have fun.

We had a great time! Not too long of a wait in lines for the rides. Food was really good also.

Free tickets and still had to spend 50$+ just for rides, if you want to go enjoyably bring 200.No parking , our Toyota Corolla had to off-road it for parking.

Only one hot air balloon was up until about 8:00 p.m. Event scheduled to end at 9:00 p.m. Everything from the venue and all vendors was overpriced!

Volunteered for the first time at the Jax Hot Air Balloon Festival today (Sunday May 14) and had a once-in-a-lifetime experience of helping set up, organize rides, take a ride, and put away a hot air balloon!Event itself was packed with people long before the place opened. Volunteers (me and my husband) were allowed in at 4pm and general public entrance started at 5ish. Volunteers are given free admission, a meal ticket, free beverages and snacks, and a separate tent and sitting area to cool off in.The winds were too strong to set up safely on time, so there was a delay (balloons started going up closer to 6) but people overall seemed pretty happy to get a little air time.Rides were $25 each and fast pass was $50. Long lines started forming at each of the 5 or 6 balloons by 7ish.Fred was our assigned balloon operator, and he was a good sport despite the delay. My husband was helping load riders into the balloon while I took the tickets and grouped people into 3 or 4. It was interesting to meet different people and see each person's facial expression before, during, and after the ride.Everything closed down around 10pm by the time the last group went up, and the vendors were still packing up when we left around 11pm.Overall, volunteering was really fun and also really tiring, but worth the experience and learning how to do new things (daisy chain knots!). Thanks for having us help make this event happen. It was definitely a workout! Props to the regular balloon crews and operators - it's a lot of patience, hard work, and coordinated effort to get those things in the air.Only reason my rating lost 1 star was the planning and organization of the event seemed like it could use a lot of improvement, especially for random people parking where the balloons should be.

Hot Air Balloon Festival was a great event with lots of food, vendors and southern rock music.

What a waste of money. This is not a fair. This is a bunch of vendors with overpriced foods, toys, gimmicks. Just a glorified vendor event. $30 entrance fee, lemonade $15! 1 ride $24! No animals, really bad cover band music. If you had small children they had a few bounce houses, bounce slides and such. But that's it. So sad. Would not recommend!

We went for the hot air balloon festival bought tickets months in advance only to get there and be told that the tickets we purchased were to get in we had to take a picture and they would text us when it was time to purchase the tickets to go on the balloon ride and we were 250th in line and at 9:00 we were 249 so in addition to the $50 I purchased months ago for the balloon ride tickets we'd have spent another $50 for the actual ride nowhere in the advertisement did it say any of this if you're going to advertise get your tickets before they sell out you should put more details in this very disappointing
