I tried to donate about $2000-$3000 worth of fine furniture to this store. They came out twice to pick it up and failed both times. The first time we waited all day for them to arrive but they never showed up. When I called General Manager Paul H. to ask what happened he just said the truck was full and they couldn't pick up any more stuff. I asked why they didn't call me and let me know the situation but he merely said he would reschedule and did not apologize. The second time the truck arrived but was too big to back all the way down our driveway because of obstructing tree limbs leaving about 10-20 feet of extra distance to cart our furniture to the truck on their dolly. The two young workman refused to do the job saying it would take them "hours" to complete the job in view of the extra distance: ridiculous! I offered to let them navigate around the tree on our grass but they refused. One workman kept whining that he would be in danger of slipping on our driveway because the driveway was a little wet from rain: that was also ridiculous. These two lazy guys just wanted to leave and not do the job! My wife made a final attempt to talk to them by flagging them down as they drove off in their large truck. Instead of stopping to talk to her they drove right past my wife almost hitting her with their large truck and not stopping! How incredibly rude and obnoxious! I let them know how I felt about that by leaving a voicemail message on their cellphone calling them out for nearly running over my wife with their truck. Later I called General Manager Paul H. to discuss this but he refused to talk to me claiming that I had been abusive to his two wimpy workmen. This was completely untrue: the two lazy workmen had lied to him about what took place and he foolishly believed them. We were only polite in trying to get them to complete the job. We will give our furniture to the Salvation Army instead. Do not donate to this organization that is unappreciative, disorganized, and will waste your time while you wait all day for them to NOT pick up your donation.

Went to both stores, Palm Coast and Bunnell. Nothing of interest in either place, but they're doing good work so OK. Prices are really high for what they've got, but if they can sell at those prices, great. We decided to donate instead, and spoke with Paul Hunt. He didn't want our furniture, which is fine, but he was a rather rude guy which I found surprising. He said they don't take certain items, but when we were at the stores, we saw the same product, and in FAR worse shape than what we wanted to donate. So bottom line, nothing to buy, and nothing to donate, but I'll still give a 2 star for the idea of HFH.

I love going to Re-store in Bunnell- Beta is the best and has really straightened out the store. She is such an out-going individual and loves to help others.

I understand the negative reviews, but I got a great table for 40$ and he was kind and they carried it to my car. Some things were obnoxious my 9 year old daughter was making jokes the whole time we were in their ?, but I'll be returning. I think it's a great place for furniture and the customer service was great truly!

Terrible. I will never stop there again. I was absolutely shocked at the prices in this store, most of them are higher than retail! I have no idea how they are even in business, or why. The clerk was not friendly at all. I offered $3 for 6 cassette tapes, and she insisted rudely on $5. I said "what are the prices on cassette tapes", she said "we don't have prices on them because no one buys them". Oh my God, never again!

This is not a typical hfh restore. It is more like an antique store with prices that are retail. They have saws and drills from the 1980s and 90s for $50+ and most things are simply not priced to move. Very disappointing. Avoid at all costs.

These people are getting donations and trying to rob the poor by overpricing everything. The woman that runs the place was trying to get retail price for a couple of worn out chairs that had sewn patches in them. It is not even worth stopping by this place, because they are as high as retail stores and the stuff is dirty and used.

The selection is minimal and they have 10-30 year old furniture priced like it's brand new.

The manager was absolutely rude when my out of state friend asked why the prices were so high! He went off scolding us that these prices were fair and reasonable! If I could only give zero stars!

A total rip off. Don't Donate or Purchase anything from this location. These people are crooks hiding behind a tax shelter. I find it hard to believe they are actually helping people by building homes. The employees are rude and dishonest.. They damaged the furniture when delivering and refused to refund my money. Then the manager, Kenny, told me he was giving me a $200 credit instead of a full refund, When I went to the store a few weeks later to used the credit , I was told that Kenny no longer worked there. The new manager said he did not know of the credit. He refused to check any records or call anyone to verify my credit. I asked that they call Kenny since he wad worked for them for 9 years and the new manager claimed they did not have his phone number. He told me I lying and yet refused to make any effort to confirm what I was promised.

Got to this store at 4:15. Parked and started to walk to the door only for a guy to stick his nose out the door and say they were closed. Told him the website said 5 and he replied that was the store up the road. Don't waste your time and gas. What away to do business.

This was my first time there. I'm not sure what my expectations were but I wasn't expecting the prices to be so high. He had a nice selection of furniture but prices were at least twice what I was expecting.
