3 of the "FIVE STAR" reviews are the owners of this business. Ladies and Gentlemen this is EXACTLY the type of mechanic people warn you about. They are NOT profession in anyway and handle things by threatening people! I'll share my personal experience with you along with another review. We took our '03 Ford Expedition to Econo Auto owned by Pete and Janet, who we thought were friends of ours. Just shortly after purchasing it our catalytic converters ate crap. We cut off one of the catalytic converters, but needed the other cut off and the exhaust put back together. It took two weeks to get it fixed even though they kept making promises that they'd have it done that day, but we got constant excuses. It took us 7 days linger to pick it up. Now let me just mention also that when you take your vehicle the mechanic, having it lojacked is beneficial..because these people apparently thought my vehicle was theirs, seeing as though they drove it across town, and left it running idle for a total of 18 minutes, before driving it back to the shop. So after paying for the work done we get home and guess what, still has an exhaust leak. I have the photos to show you why it still leaked. We kept trying to get the truck back in for proper repair during a time that we could watch them, but they kept telling us to come after 5pm, which means they'd have it overnight again. So we never could go back As a matter of fact my exhaust pipe fell off while traveling down I-95 with my 5yr and 8yr olds in it yesterday. My husband is a disabled Veteran, I'm out $225 and dont have the money to take it any where else to be fixed the right way. These people basically stole our money and if they'll do this to a friend imagine what they'd do to others. The whole time this was happening my husband was helping them for free by listing ads for them on facebook. The thanks he gets is spending his Veteran's Day by nearly dying on the highway with our children in the car. I've since been told by others I should have stayed away from Ecoco. You might want to also. I apologize for the unorganized emotional tone of this review. I'm beyond upset. I have plenty of proof and I'm taking this further than here.
