Contracted Advanced Air to install a new Lennox air handler system. From sales to installation our customer experience was excellent. Technicians Cameron and Chris were outstanding professionals who quickly installed our complete system, cleaned up the work site and took the time to explain the operational details. It’s refreshing to see technicians who take pride in their work!

We had an issue that needed attention immediately due to timing. Joe A at the office was able to get us a tech quickly. Lisa was amazing! She fixed our issue, explained the problem, and verified that everything worked prior to leaving. Thank you Joe A & Lisa for being so awesome! We greatly appreciate you both!

These guys are a ripoff. They charge $49 just to come out to quote on a shower valve replacement. After all said and done Michael quoted me $1600 and that’s with a $370 discount and you have to supply the replacement parts. So, I went ahead and got other quotes without the $49 charge. The other quotes ranged from $400 to 750. So, it pays to get other quotes.

PLEASE do not use this company, they are extremely rude and unprofessional! My AC unit broke and Advanced Air had originally installed the unit so I called them for the repair. The part was under warranty, but we were told that the labor would be $1200! I was totally shocked that labor on a warranted part would be that high. To make matters worse, they demanded 50% up front or they wouldn't even order the part! My husband paid the $600 and then the nightmare began. When I called to get an explanation of the high labor quote, it took 3 DAYS for someone to call me back. Tanya who was the manager at the time and conveniently is no longer with the company, was very nice and professional and took the time to explain the cost to me. She stated what the price per hour was and also that the quote included the refrigerant and I wrote down everything that she said. We then waited and waited and waited. I called EVERY SINGLE DAY for 2 solid weeks and was told by the phone operators (who are not employed by Advanced Air) that someone would call me back and this went on for weeks. Many days I called at least twice a day and sometimes 3 times and yet was never able to speak with someone who worked at the company and who could give me an update on our case. We actually had to move out of our home as it was 90+ degrees inside of our house. After 3 weeks, I was told that our part was in and that they could install the next day and I was given a time. Well that day came and again I sat and waited. Finally at 4pm, I called and was told that my appt was now for the next day!! I was also told that I would be the very 1st customer the next day and that the tech would be here at 9:00am. At 11:15, I called and was told that he was "on his way". The tech finally did arrive and 1st thing he said was that he needed paid before he could start the job and that the balance was the full $1200 PLUS refrigerant!! They didn't have it marked down that my husband had already paid half and now it was a "He said/she said" regarding the refrigerant. I was upset to say the least and wanted to call my husband to ask what we should do. I also asked to speak to a manager but was originally told that he would not speak to me. Well, the manager then called me but only to yell at me and say "Are you allowing my tech to do the job or not? He's been there over an hour and has other jobs". It literally had been 11 minutes since the tech had arrived! (Thank God for Ring cameras) Needless to say, I called another company. The new company was called on Monday, came out the same day and installed a brand new part first thing Friday. Dealing with this company was a complete nightmare! They have zero customer service skills and are completely dishonest! Oh and to top it off, one of the parts that they said was "leaking" was perfectly fine and didn't need replacing after all. We have way too many choices here in PC to have to resort to this absurdity. Use any other company other than Advanced Air.

Horrible communication and not responsive. Four times they scheduled an appointment with us and didn't show. First time, we had a 9-12 appointment and at 5:00pm we received a call letting us know they had to reschedule to next day. I get it, unexpected situations arise. Next day, however, no one came even though I received a text to confirm the appointment and another letting me know the plumber was on his way. Again, we called and they apologized and rescheduled us for another day (they gave us a 9-12 appointment). Again we waited and again no one showed (even though, again, I received a text to confirm the appointment and another letting me know the plumber was on his way) and again they apologized and promised the plumber would be here the next day. Guess what - no one showed. At 5:00pm, I called the office and advised that if the plumber wasn't here by 5:45, to cancel the call (it was my wife's birthday and we had dinner plans that night). At 7:00pm the plumber called and said he was on his way.As i said, I get it, unexpected situations arise, but four times they scheduled the appointment and four times they couldn't make it. That is unacceptable.

The absolute worst company! Customer service is poor from the individuals that answer the phones (some weird screening agency sounding individuals) to the plumbers that arrive to work and the GM Chris! Jim is not a man of his word! We have a contract w them that states they would do the work to code, they did not file for either of the two city permits they needed to do the work! They did the plumbing work w all illegal plumbing facets caused us to fail w the city inspections (after the city contacted them to gain permits- twice!) they never submitted specs to gain approval for the work they already completed prior to installation- had they done so it would have been denied. They left holes in our walls and stated “they don’t do build backs” they left their trash all over our unit and was inside treatment rooms they had no business in, while leaving their trash in those rooms as well! We failed inspection 4 times, the city wanted to fine us a fee for the problems and our management company wanted to charge us an additional $5k to correct what Advanced ruined in our commercial unit!The ending result; OUR BUSINESS WAS CLOSED DUE TO THE PLUMBING HAVING TO BE RIPPED OUT PER THE CITY AND TO BE RESTORED TO ORIGINAL STATE! Advance has yet to rectify this situation and are consistently rude or avoid communication when we contact them!Dealing w Advanced cost us far more than the original invoice! This project started in December 2022 we are in May 2023 and we still can not pass inspection to be cleared from this nightmare! Which means we continue to pay for rent on our commerical property we can not operate our business out of!Services: Water heater installation

Whole house re-wire. Waiting for months for permit. The office claims I am 3 months in arrears for payments. For what? We don't yet have a permit. You cannot speak to anyone in the office. Receptionist will take message, only No one ever returns phone calls. The parent company of Advanced Air is Southern HVAC Corporation. All calls to Southern HVAC Company go directly to messaging. No one actually answers the phone. Ever. If you plan on hiring this company, go shopping for a good lawyer, first!Service: Electrical panel repair

We had an issue with our AC called advanced air because we had great service in the past. This was not the case this time around Joe came out and was in a terrible mood, tried to tell me what was wrong with the AC before even making it over to the air handler or letting me say what was going on. After getting a family member involved he finally agreed to look at the unit but still quoted large amounts for parts he assumed were broken even though he couldn’t do diagnostic. Then comes the AC sales team, Amber, to try to sell us on a new unit. When telling her our experience she agreed to get the tech we had a great experience with prior to come back and look. He comes back with Amber and does some testing. I found it highly suspicious that the sales person came back with the tech for diagnosis. Why does the sales person for a new unit need to come back if she already had the measurements for the unit.Still recommend getting a new unit. We call another company to get a second quote the tech comes out and the machine has been left with several wires disconnected and the fuse missing. Had to call advanced air back and ask what they did with the fuse. They said they left it on a ledge in front of the unit. It wasn’t there. We spent over an hour trying to find this fuse and it was hidden in the back of the unit. Because of all these difficulties it seems a bit ridiculous that we had to pay a trip fee when they didn’t really diagnose the problem. They were set on selling a new unit and wanted to make it difficult for us to get any other quotes. Things should have been put back they way they found them not hiding in the back of the unit and the transformer left unplugged and the breaker still turned on, live wires just left unplugged also the cover not even fully screwed in.

Called the scheduler to have a tech come out and look at our Generac 45KW generator (Liquid cooled 4.2l V-6) I was very careful to make sure she understood this unit requires a "Liquid-cooled certified" tech and that 2 years ago they sent someone who wasn't qualified wasting a lot of time for both parties. Called back 2 days before and she became angry stating "All of our techs are certified in everything". Well, as of yesterday at 3:00 PM that statement isn't true. Tech comes out, sees the box and says I'm not allowed to touch it, it's liquid cooled. Long story short: even repeatedly asking, the wrong info was provided to myself and the tech. Waste of time.
