The first time, I showed up to this place and was told that I needed to call first to even confirm they had worms. Got 400 worms right then and there, perfect. Even got the magnet sticker with the number. I called a few weeks ago, no answer. Called again just now twice in a row, no answer. So do I show up again even though you specifically told me to call before I show up and get the worms and you get your money or do I just keep calling and waste my time and you don’t get a customer? Not trying to be rude but come on now…

I don't live very far from their facility, so they offered to let me stop in for my purchase. It's not a retail store but they were very accommodating. I got 1,000 worms and they looked great. Feeding them to a mating pair of bluebirds. Will make the drive again when needed.

I'm so happy I found sunshine state worms! Great bulk pricing, super fast shipping and amazing quality! I have ordered from other places and half the worms arrived dead in a cloth bag that stunk so bad. I was so impressed that not one worm was dead from sunshine state worms, no smell and packaged perfectly. I'll never waste my time ordering from anywhere else. Thank you for your reliable service and superworms, y'all are amazing! ? ?

We traveled over 50 minutes to get 1000 medium superworms for my daughter's bearded dragon. The drive was worth it. I have spent so much money at the local pet shop for the last 10 months. I will take the drive every few months for worms. All the worms were alive ! The man that helped us was very nice and explained how to take care of the worms . He instructed us on how to house the worms so they stay alive. For pick up, the worms came in a white mesh bag. We stopped at a dollar store for a cheap container, put oats about 1 inch high. We put some slices of potatoes as a water source. All the worms were active and alive!FYI. I tried calling a few times with no answers, finally I decided to actually listen to the whole voice-mail recording which said we can text that number also. I got a response right away when I texted the Company’s number. I wanted to make sure they were open before taking the trip there. There hours are not the same for in-person pickup. Make sure you text before you go.

Don't know if I just had bad luck or what because I see nothing but good reviews... but here's my experience:I originally chose direct delivery to my residence and was contacted via email to explain that due to the high South Florida temperatures, the only way they would be guaranteed alive is if I switched to "HOLD FOR PICKUP." I had a few follow up questions and worries about knowing when and where to pick them up; to which I received a response email that included the following:"if you wanted hold for pickup it would be whatever the post office that your mail carrier delivers to you from….once you get a tracking number if u email us we can look up the address if you dont know it….but we also put your phone number on the box so most post offices will call when it gets in"As the gentleman offered to assist with this, I went ahead and switched my order to "HOLD FOR PICKUP." I followed up, as he stated I could, and ask the following, via email: "If you wouldn't mind, could you please help me figure out where I would be picking these up at? Thank you so much for all of your help!" --- This was Monday, April 25th.I never received a reply with any sort of assistance or even notification of arrival. They were quick to send me an almost immediate email saying that my order was now complete, even though it hadn't even been received by the post office yet, let alone arrived to their customer... (me)! There was simply a tracking number indicating that the post office was aware of a package to be shipped that they had not yet received .Today, April 28th, I am wondering why I have not received any notification or information to pick up the superworms. I check the tracking again, and come to find out.... they were delivered to some PO box 2 days ago with nothing but a zip code for the "location". Not only was I not notified of delivery... The company never followed up, never replied to my email to assist me in figuring out the location of said delivery; but now I'm sure I will definitely have dead worms that have been sitting in a PO box for the past 2 days with no food or water. On top of that, I now have to figure out WHERE this mythical PO box lives, with noting but a zip code to go off of - no address whatsoever.***UPDATE*** So after searching, googling, and summoning the PO box to reveal itself, my husband spent 30 min on the phone with the post office trying to figure out the location of this eluding PO box to no avail. He then called Sunshine State Worms directly as he was out of ideas. They were able to find the exact address within 5 minutes. The person he spoke with claimed she had "called and left a message" but no call or message was ever received, so its still a mystery who she "called."We were finally on our way to pick up (what I thought would be) a bunch of dying/dead, cannibalized superworms.Fast forward.... To my COMPLETE surprise, there was NOT a single dead worm! Not one! This was the healthiest batch of worms I have ever received, BY FAR! I was tired of always getting a bunch of smelly, dead, black worms. I've tried getting them from a few different places, both mail delivery and pickup; and there were always dead worms. Some batches more than others... and usually I'm picking out several dead worms for days afterwards as well. Not with this batch!I've gotta tell you... After this headache of a fiasco, I had written this one off too; but when I opened that box of worms and saw the quality of the superworms...I just became their newest loyal customer!! Lol - I won't order from anywhere else now that I've found a quality, cost effective supply.I looked hard folks. Not a single superworm was dead or even lethargic. They were active, noisy, and smelled like Irish Spring! Okay maybe a slight exaggeration with the Irish Spring, but *zero* necrosis. All fat and happy worms :).Now that I know the process (and location of the elusive PO box), I will just set an alert next time I order and make sure to
