UPDATE JUNE 2023: This place has DEFINITELY improved since my initial review 2 years ago. They updated the broken and run down areas of the store. They expanded the isle sizes so they weren't so cramped and made it easier to shop down. Definitely impressed. Original 2 years ago review: This Save A Lot definitely needs some repairs. It's a nice store, employees seem nice, prices aren't too bad. But the store definitely has a run down kind of feeling. The isles feel a bit cramped too, they probably can't really do much about that as it does seem like they are using all of the space inside best they can, but I definitely had trouble a few times trying to pass people

Ever since they did a remodel the prices have gone through the roof. They used to be a price friendly way to stock up on grocery items... Not anymore. I needed a few things and didn't want to go to the W-Mart because it was a Saturday afternoon so I ran to Save A Lot instead. $1.20 more for a gallon of Milk. $3.00 more for beer. $1.10 more for a can of crushed pineapple. $1.00 more for sliced cheese. $1.50 a lb more for chicken breast. Those are only a few examples. Spend A Lot is more accurate. It's a shame because I loved this little store. I would expect it from a place like Whole Foods, not a place that is actually named Save A Lot.

Clean well stocked store the prices are great on some items but others were actually more than Walmart so do your price checking! Bring your own bags too !

I shopped your store on Cortez Blvd. Brooksville FL. Today. When I reviewed my receipt I discovered that 2 coupons I presented at checkout had been scanned but had A zero value of discount for those products. I am not interested in a credit, if one was offered but I will not be shopping with you from this point forward. The pricing of normal products are far higher than your competition.

This store needs a new manager they had absolutely none of their sale items in the store in the store on a Saturday morning. Their cashier had only nickels to give for change in the drawer. Very disappointed. I've shopped at Save a Lot for years but will ho to Aldi's from now on

Was their for just a short list of items, but found some meat marked for quick sale got all 4 will put in freeze until I need, store was well staff, clean inside, parking lot clean as well, didn't take but a few minutes.

Bought 2.24 pounds of new york strips, drained off 6.3 ounces of water. Thats a 28% waste. At. 6.99 a pound, you could have had a premium piece of meat at a better facility. Potatoes, that in less than 1 year ago used to cost $3.49/5#, are now $6.99 for a 5# bag. Canned vegtables that used to cost .49 cents a can, are now.69cents a can, a 30% increase, all in less than a year. And yes, I used to be a meat cutter. These prices are extraordinary and the quality is less than ordinary. Start shopping Kroger.....get the online app.
