“They always have great bargains! The prices at Dollar General are the lowest I've seen in a while, from foods to cards, paper products, drinks, snacks, makeup, pet food and toys. You can't go wrong shopping at Dollar General stores.”
“Store #21730 on Cortez in B'ville, had it's doors wide open, gotta feel like 100 degree day! Ms. Carolyn greeted me with a big smile but a sweaty brow, NO AIR CONDITIONING. I thought if she can work today, I can shop today. But the heat got to me, I headed for the check out. Ms Carolyn cheerfully asked, "Did I find everything I needed today ?" I replied, actually I couldn't find scissors! She said, "they are in stationery, you wait right here and I'll go a pair for you". Ms. Carolyn was a helpful older sweetheart. I doubt today's younger clerk would even ask a question, let alone go out of their way to grab an item for me in my late 60s!
I hope Dollar General recognizes what a dedicated employee they have and it was my pleasure to be talking a bit with a good hearted neighbor helping me get an item I really needed. Hope that A/C is fixed soon!”
“One of the nicer stores in the area. There is not much clutter in the aisles like many other stores.Sure wish they didn't have to raise their prices, but there are still a lot of bargains if you shop the shelves closely.”
“This particular store has gone above and beyond more than once for me even at closing time. It also has food better than most stores. Even produce, yes, produce!! “Great savings on greeting cards and gift bags!! 2 cards for 1.00 and bigger cards for $1.25. Gift bags ... all sizes are $1.25. Pantry items, cleaning supplies, snack foods, mugs, dishes, pet supplies, figurines, flip flops, you name it all for only $1.25! Parking is plentiful and easy in and out. Definitely worth checking out this great discount store.”

“Love this store!!!! Awesome girls that work there too!!!! Jo, Detri,.Nancy, Shae and Celiz are my favorite workers!!!! All the employees work so hard to keep the store so well organized and so nice!!! The cashier's are speedy and knowledgeable of their job,.they ring customers up in a timely manner!!! “went in today for a phone charger and when I went to pay with Apple Pay, I realize my phone was dead. There was a very nice man with long hair and a snake tattoo who offered to let me charge my phone until it turned on so I could pay. He was with another woman too, they were very patient with me.”

“This was my first time at this particular location, but I can assure you it will not be my last. Both ladies were hard at work keeping shelves stocked and the store looking good. However..... Yes indeed, every customer was met with a cheerful, genuine greeting and a smile to go along with it!! Praise Baby Jesus, Mother Mary, Joseph and ALL his carpenter friends!!!
