I could write a book for this review. I will try to keep it at a minimum, but I do have to say, this has been a long journey for me and my sister, and our families, along with Brewer & Sons family. My parents passed away 36 hours from each other. My mother on 9/6/2021 and my father on 9/8/2021 just 12 hours after being told his bride of nearly 54 years had passed. He had been hospitalized and was not aware of outside goings on. They were soulmates if ever there were. It was inevitable they were to always be together. The heartbreak to us, as anyone can imagine was unbearable. Brewer & Sons, and all of their family in the Brooksville office was there for us. They were all very supportive, helpful, informative, compassionate, and patient. We did have both dad and mom cremated and Ami helped us through the urn process, and was always available for any questions we had. We had such a connection with her, as she shared a home state with our dad. She definitely has such a caring way and is so genuine. We really appreciated her. As we progressed with choosing to inter the remains our parents in Masaryktown Cemetery, Ryan Brewer began collaborating with my sister and I on the planning of the monument and memorial stone for our parents. I will begin with stating this was a very involved and tedious process. We met for several hours late into the night for our first draft. We definitely had a vision, and we were not going to sway from it. Ryan embraced every single idea, change, change again, and again, and again…and he was onboard with every single bit of it. He, we, tirelessly worked for 14 months to make the absolutely perfect memorial to not only dad and mom, but to our family that passed before them. When this entire work of art was presented to us, we were beyond words, speechless, appreciative, moved, just everything. It was exactly every single thing we worked up, scrupulously planned, discussed, reworked, rethought, edited, re-edited, and made it come to fruition…this masterfully done piece memorializing two amazing people that deserve it. This is absolutely a piece that is something worth waiting for. Ryan had such patience and understanding, compassion, and drive. He just knew to hold fast with us and we would make something remarkable…and we did! Thank you so much Ryan, for your care and love in this piece with us for our parents. We appreciate you, and Brewer & Sons, more than you know! Thank you!

I was surprised to learn that Brewer and Sons offered a pet cremation option when I was looking for a place to have my very good boy cremated. I learned that the pet crematorium does not have a true private cremation option, while Brewer and Sons does. They were far more responsive to me than the pet crematorium, and as my dog was very much family to me, it was an easy choice to go with B&S.The pet crematorium is a separate facility than the one used for people, but the service and care they provided me was such that it was clear they respected him as a dear part of my family.Laura, who operates the pet facility, agreed to let me stay present for the cremation, something that was very important to me. Tammy, the funeral director, was patient and understanding with me through the entire process, and when I was not wholly satisfied with the Life Tile porcelain portrait I ordered for his urn, she got the price refunded for me. The Eternal Flame glass sculpture I ordered is beautiful.I hope to not have need for these kinds of services for a very long time, but I would use this company again and recommend them to others.

I don't especially like funeral homes but it was okay. No different than others I have been to.

Considering that my mom was picked up last Monday and I've had to keep calling them and actually had to go there to find out what happens next. I've emailed, called and texted since Wednesday, and NO ONE has returned my calls, emails, nothing!!As if losing my mom on the 31st wasn't difficult enough.

Keeping is short and sweet. Brewer & Sons Funeral Home is by far the best I have seen in Florida. Employees are compassionate and kind. They take the burden of worry off of you. They have honest, written straight forward pricing. They share their years of experience with you. They do not let you miss anything. The packages are affordable and classy. Dealing with Jenifer, Ryan and Barry made a difficult time bearable. They do the worrying and iron out the details, so you do not have to. They are patient and kind. Class Act place. Highly recommended..

My father passed away unexpectedly during COVID19 and he was fairly young. Our family is new to the Brooksville area and we lacked referrals and resources. Steven Roosevelt referred us to the Brooksville location and initially helped us with ideas on what kind of service we could have. Tammy Tolbert took our family under her wing with the help of Ryan Brewer and their phenomenal staff we were able to give my father a personalized memorable and meaningful home going service. Many were unable to travel during COVID19 but Brewer & Sons went above and beyond for our family during this difficult time in our lives. We were referred to a local Reverend who officiated the service. Rev. Dr. Jerry Jones. He was phenomenal. Our package included a beautiful dove release where the grandchildren took part in releasing doves from baskets into the sky in loving memory and symbolism. The staff pieced together a beautiful slide show tribute we were able to share online with friends and family as well as our father’s obituary.Anything we needed they went the extra mile. My cousin who attended the service shared that she felt like she was at a high end hotel. Everyone has manners and class. If you love your loved one, you will entrust Brewer & Sons. We had a repass following the service and the reception space was modern, clean and perfect. We later had our father buried at their Laurel Oaks Historical Masaryktown cemetery. A beautiful tranquil location. Exactly what we wanted for our father and I know without a shadow of a doubt my father would be pleased. We will be working with Ryan on designing our father’s monument. Brewer was an answer to a prayer for us.
